2000 pieces. And approx 1000 are very similar shades of green. It took me almost 3 weeks to finish this. It's beautiful, and buffalo games makes great puzzles. At least in my experience. Gonna do an easier one next, hah.

A very nice puzzle. Maybe with a few tougher parts for the casual puzzler. My problem is not with the puzzle itself, but with both buffalo puzzles i have done so far. While their pieces are very unique and make the puzzle somewhat easier by their mere shape of the pieces, the quality of the pieces is not perfect. Several pieces arrived with the edges already bent up and the picture partially peeled off the cardboard backing. If you can forgive a couple of subpar pieces it's a great puzzle. If you want an easier picture, try the autumn version of the picture.

- Q. Nellie2000 pieces is too much! the puzzle pieces are all cut precisely. I haven't solved the puzzle, so hopefully no missing pieces.

I finished the puzzle and it is beautiful! one tip is that if a piece is not a complete fit edge to edge with another, then it is not the right piece for that spot. I had difficulties fitting the last piece until i discovered that i misplaced one very close in shape, color and size on a wrong spot. Once i switched the two, all fit perfectly! . . The puzzle quality is great and i will buy more buffalo games puzzles.

I hadn't worked on a large puzzle since i was a kid. I thought this would be a good family activity and it did end up being a good distraction from electronics and providing hours of entertainment. We have a pool table that is hardly ever used which turned out to be a great puzzle assembly space. I think it would be tough to put this together on anything much smaller. The puzzle was challenging, but not too frustrating. Anytime we really got stuck, we'd audit our work and almost always find a piece in the wrong place. After putting this puzzle together with my husband, we loved it so much we decided to frame it. It took a while to figure out how to frame it since we've never framed a puzzle before, but now that it's up on the wall in our eating area we love it, it's so pretty! the colors are just as vibrant as in the picture.

Being our first puzzle we thought this is how they all are, but now that i have rcvd the others ( 4 fron 2 different companies n one from buffalo) we realized how good the quality of this puzzle ( and the second buffalo games puzzle) was, the colors of the puzzle are exactly like the picture, the ship to dubai directly also, i just wish they made more puzzles with more number of pieces.

We are not puzzle people. Or so i thought when i married my husband (i trusted him). But apparently he harbors a secret love of puzzles. Which we subsequently learned is shared by my father. This is my family's dirty little secret. Anyway, the husband and a couple friends, just this past weekend, managed to complete this very eye-catching puzzle while i distracted the kids with dinosaurs and throwing rocks far away. I did about 23 of the pieces. But they were very important pieces. Very durable. Bright colors. All pieces present and accounted for. All the things you'd want in a puzzle.

As others have noted, it's a beautiful picture and challenging to put together. In fact, for my 55 year old eyes, the pieces were too small and too dark. It's a hard puzzle, particularly in areas of the ocean or sky where there is not much to differentiate one piece from the other. It's easy to put the wrong piece in and mess up an entire section. We won't be buying puzzles from buffalo games again because we prefer other companies with larger puzzle pieces and brighter pictures.

I bought this puzzle as a gift for my boyfriend because he loves doing puzzles. Overall, we were both very pleased with the quality of the puzzle. We didn't have any missing pieces, which was good because i saw that some people complained about missing pieces. The puzzle was challenging but overall not too difficult. We were able to finish it in less than a week and didn't even work on it every day. I think having two people work on it helped a lot though. Had so much fun building this puzzle. I decided to build it without referencing the picture, so it was super tricky. I thought it would be easy as the buildings were all different colors and it seemed that it would be straightforward to match the different colored pieces to each other, but was far more difficult than i thought. The buildings might look to be different colors, but in most cases they are different shades, so matching the ride shade took a lot longer than expected, but it also made it a lot more fun. . Docked a star because some of the pieces were bent or the picture separated from the board easily.

The puzzle was good but something i did not like was the fsct that some pieces had identical cuts, which made it so confusing to a point where i though my puzzle was defective. Besides that the image is really good but its frustrating when you have two or more pieces that fit in the same spot with the same uniform color

The puzzle saver itself is very easy to use once you succeed in flipping the assembled puzzle over. In my case, this required 2 silicone chopping boards (one to transfer the puzzle onto and the other to keep it from moving while performing the flip). Once i had the puzzle facing down, using the "peel & stick puzzle saver" was as intuitive and effortless as peeling and applying a label. The glue was highly adhesive and i had absolutely no sense that pieces of the puzzle would detach if handled roughly. I was concerned about this because this was a class project for my 7 year son and i knew that it would have to endure being taken to school, being shown to the class, being passed around the class and -if it survived all this- be put on display. The puzzle not only survived 21 7-year olds "looking" at it (some attempted bending was involved in this looking) but it looks just as good now as when my son first took it to school. It is on display and it looks striking. I like that there is no glue painted over it (i have had other parents ask about how we made it stick) -so i give it props for being effortlessly ingenious, effective, possibly indestructible and easy to customize to suit your unique puzzle dimensions. It also gets props for the instant gratification of not having to wait for hours for it to dry. I subtracted one star because the adhesive had a slight smell that lingered in the room for a while. I do like these peel-and-stick stickers, but they weren't the magic that i kind of hoped for. They do exactly what i needed them to do - hold the puzzle together. However, they come with little holders on them as though you are going to just be able to hang them as is on the wall. When i hold them up, they generally hold okay, but i would not trust them to just hang on the wall with nothing but this backing. . But, for my purposes - to stick the puzzle together so that i could put it in a frame - it was perfect. I was able to do 2. 5 500 piece puzzles with one kit.

HurstI thought i would have to mess with glue or pasting something over the puzzle pieces - but with peel & stick all i did was flip the puzzle over - (would have helped to get instructions on the flipping aspect - hint, i slid it on a bread board then put a large cutting board on top and flipped it over so the backside was up) - then cut the peel & stick paper to measure and it stuck perfectly to hold the pieces in place. I had to cut a few pieces to get full coverage but it was easy - i think it even had grid lines to follow. I used a rolling pin to press down evenly then. Done! within 30 seconds i was able to lift the now one-piece puzzle by the top and carry it to a safe place for framing later - really appreciated that 1) it was easy and quick and 2) that i didn't have to destroy the look of the puzzle pieces by spreading goop over them. Yay!

I had never saved a puzzle before and this stuff seemed like a pretty good idea. It works pretty well too. The hardest part was flipping the puzzle over, the poster board we had just barley fit the size of the puzzle (1000 pieces) but a friend and myself got it to work. Then we just pealed and stuck the sheets to the board. Rolled over it with a rolling pin and was done. Took us maybe a whole 10 minutes. It says to let sit for a couple of hours for it to harden and adhere. I don't think it really did much over the hours it sat. I took a picture to add to this review and i didn't notice the bottom corner piece had fallen off. I found it on the floor and easily stuck it back on. Then another piece fell. Once again no big deal stuck it back on. . That being said, i think i might run over the picture side with some mod podge to make sure they pieces don't start falling off. Overall i'd buy again to save a puzzle but it was easy and had no mess.
