The latest film inspired doll by mattel is tris from the divergent series: insurgent. This tris doll features a combat inspired outfit and shorter hair than the original doll, she also has brown eyes that match the features of the actress shailene woodley, unlike the divergent doll which had blue eyes. This tris doll also has straight arms which is definitely a downgrade in my opinion. Tris is a fighter and it's not easy to act out scenes from the books or movies with stiff arms. I'd also suggest buying these dolls in person as many of the tris dolls i've seen have had bad eye paint jobs. This is the fault of mattel though not online store or other retailers. Their quality has been declining fast in the last few years. Despite the flaws, tris is a very cute barbie doll and perfect for any ya book or movie fan.

My daughter wanted a male barbie that was more pose-able than the rigid dolls that are common. This one fit the bill at a great price, but the joints do move unnaturally and are quite loose. Still a good product.

The doll is very nice, but the hair looks nothing like the hair of the doll in the photo. The hair on my doll looks like it is made of steel wool and much shorter. Hence the reason for the 4 star rating instead of the 5 star rating. Shipping was very fast and the box the doll was in was perfect.

Very nice looking doll, is more like an action figure, the one thing i didn't like is his hair, on the picture it looks much better than on the actual doll, the doll i received has hair that looks like when old ladies get a perm, . Not really big on the hunger games series, but i do love the series of dolls the franchise has spawned. Mattel did an amazing job in creating such a handsome looking ken doll with this finnick odair doll. Best of all he is fully articulated, which makes it ideal for me who likes to pose and photograph dolls. . As for the clothes and accessories, they are well constructed and detailed. Unlike the other dolls in this series, finnick's clothes are indeed removable and not just sew onto him. Great for redressing!

Finn is the most gorgeous 12" guy doll. Absolutely a must have doll if you're seriously into collecting ken type dolls. He's absolutely gorgeous in person. Dressed up in normal ken clothes, in this case a slightly rock and roll outfit, he's so fine it's unreal. If i was going to suggest absolutely buying any one "ken" this year to anyone this would be it. He exceeded my expectations and then some, and fyi, i'm not even a hg fan, i just wanted him because i thought he was a nice looking ken type doll. All i can say is the pics don't do this guy doll justice. He's better in person than he is in the promo pics. Very well done indeed. Kudos to mattel on this one. I bought. This doll for my son because it was the most articulated, coolest looking "ken" doll i could find at the price. My son loves this doll and enjoys having a "guy" for when his sister and cousins are playing dolls. Now there aren't fights about who has to be who. This doll is well made and has a lot of movement. The face sculpt actually looks like the actor it's based on and the costume is pretty close too.
