My seven-year-old daughter loves the calico critters range of toys, especially since she is keen on making up stories and playing make believe. The hopscotch family is one of her favorites. They are beautiful little critters with cute outfits and those long ears are adorable. We have several different families so my daughter loves changing their outfits, which is quite easy, but one does have to be careful. . The bodies themselves are sturdy yet have a soft texture on the outside so it feels pleasant to the touch. They can be posed and the arms and legs can bend though trying to make them sit comfortably is not easy, and they can only bend about halfway. This set comes with a mom, dad, brother, and sister. Each of the calico critter family also comes with a set of twin babies which can be purchased separately. The calico critters range of toys are really cute and detailed enough to keep even older children entertained. These hopscotch rabbitt family critters are adorable, and my daughter and friends can't stop playing with them! they bring out the best in educational and creative roleplay in kids, and are made very well. Calico Critters Calico Cloverleaf Townhome Gift Set
This cottage is wonderful! not to mention it came with bonus furniture at a fantastic price. The detail in all these tiny pieces is incredible. I know my 10 year old daughter absolutely loves it. It's different than the "usual" doll houses and let's her use more of her imagination while playing. I love listening to her playing with it, and hearing the little things she comes up with in that imagination of hers. Props to whomever invented and designed this. It's nice to see something different on the market for a change. Great job, and i will definitely be purchasing more pieces for this.

Why you include two figures only (a mom and daughter)? where is the dad :)? we got the rabbit family to go with this and our 3 year old when she had them all together thought the guy had two wives. We aw this at the store and looked online and found it on here for $30 cheaper! our daughter loves it! the details and the lights and rooms are so much fun to use with play! i love that the people are animals! i think so many dolls are so un realistic these days so its cute to be able to play house with adorable fuzzy creatures!

Although it looks great as is, we had fun painting & wallpaper the rooms. We added flooring . It quickly became a hobby & a favorite imaginative play area as we couldn't resist adding on stores etc. It's our little village. . Calico critterso do not disappoint! my 4 year old is practicing interior & exterior design . We also use it as a stage while giving critters personalities & scripts. . I especially love that there are boxes to build which helps teach blueprint reading. . We are careful not to loose parts (teaching responsiblity) also impressed by the dexterity factor. Fills the senses. .
This is a great set. The house comes with lots of little furniture and even some animal people. Oh and there are actual working lights in the home. My daughter loves how she can do so much with this home. It is expensive but def. Worth the price for the size and all that you get.
