Calico critters are completely fun for little kids anywhere between 4-7 years old. My granddaughters love the critters and play with them a lot. The pieces are made with great detail, like small drawers that open for storage of tiny detailed accessories. I recommend the critters. This particular set was reasonably prices, and included the little action figures, which was nice.

Calico critters have been a huge hit with my young daughter, and these bunk beds make playing that much more fun! the greatest part about them is that they come apart so they can be single beds too. Very cute like all things calico critter. Well made and very sturdy. I deducted a star because i think these ridiculously cute items are ridiculously over-priced. Of course i'll keep buying them, despite this ; )

- U. LaraThis bunk bed was a great buy. I am sure if you have calico critters, that your child has several. The bunk beds are great because we have more room in our house now for the beds. My daughter has 6 critters, but our beginner cottage only came with 1 bed. It comes with a cute ladder, the beds all have pillows, blankets (that resemble a little sleeping bag so you can put your critter inside it) and a mattress for each bed. Also the beds can come apart, as well so they don't have to be a bunk bed.

You can never have enough beds for a dollhouse. These can be stacked or taken apart, and the detail (mattress, pillows, blankets), is amazing! the ladder. I don't get it since the critters don't actually "hold" anything, but she likes to use it as the picture shows, and sometimes it's a "bridge" between the two beds, and pretends the bunny in the top bunk climbs to the top. So it fulfills it's purpose to exercise a child's imagination. Very cute set, and affordable too! if you have lots of critters, might want to get more - it's worth it! they also fit small lalaloopsy dolls and octonauts (who "visit" the bunny family we have).

I bought these for my 5. 5 year old twin girls. Great quality and attention to detail, limbs rotate easily and smoothly. My girls had a calico critter christmas with some furniture sets along with grandma's purchase of the cloverleaf manor (fyi these critters are small but the manor was much bigger than i thought it would be! ). My daughters have played with their calico critters daily since they opened their gifts on christmas! at bed time my one daughter will often mention how much she loves her calico critters. My daughter loves these things. I think they're a little pricey - but they are well made. . She's very careful with them and loves them a lot - but she's 2 so that care is relative. They've withstood being accidentally kicked and dropped and just generally knocked around. . Yes the clothes come off. Which is a blessing because she loves dressing them. And curse because are cries if she misplaces the clothes.

What's neat about it are the accessories that go along with the "critters"/ i also purchased a bedroom set for the critters. Can't wait to give it to her as we have been out of town and just got back. She is 5 and loves little things like this. Ther are also other crittters!

My seven-year-old daughter loves the calico critters range of toys, especially since she is keen on making up stories and playing make believe. The hopscotch family is one of her favorites. They are beautiful little critters with cute outfits and those long ears are adorable. We have several different families so my daughter loves changing their outfits, which is quite easy, but one does have to be careful. . The bodies themselves are sturdy yet have a soft texture on the outside so it feels pleasant to the touch. They can be posed and the arms and legs can bend though trying to make them sit comfortably is not easy, and they can only bend about halfway. This set comes with a mom, dad, brother, and sister. Each of the calico critter family also comes with a set of twin babies which can be purchased separately. The calico critters range of toys are really cute and detailed enough to keep even older children entertained.
