These wings are super cute and most of them lasted some pretty rigorous conditions without issue. By "rigorous conditions" i mean a 5'11" 175 pound man playing competitive sports for many hours. Judge if you want but i looked fabulous. . There is a decent amount of glitter lining the edges, so if you dislike glitter then maybe reconsider these. Although if you're buying fairy wings in bulk, you're probably fine with a little glitter here and there. My 4-yr old believes she's a real fairy when she wears these wings the wings are well made from really nice, soft, semi-transparent fabric they're lightweight and are put on by elastic band armholes the only con is the glitter does shed so we shook the wings out inside a trash recepticle and no longer have any real glitter problems i highly recommend the purchase -P. I recently ordered these butterfly wings for a little girl's second birthday. When they were unwrapped, she immediately put on the blue pair and began running up and down the hallway (which has a mirror at the end) so she could see herself and watch the wings move. The elastic strap attachments are a bit large for her at this point, but worked fine when her mother used some little sweater clips to attach them to her shirt. My little friend loved these!

My three-year-old daughter has recently entered her princess/dress-up phase and santa got her the melissa & doug dress-up tiaras for christmas. She loves them and uses them all the time! we loved them so much that i decided to find her some wands for her birthday to go with her tiaras. When she opened these up, she was so excited! she has used them every day and she likes to run around the house saying "magic! magic! " while waving her wands! . . This set contains four different wands. Each one measures 13 inches long and they are made of extremely sturdy materials. They feel like they are made of hard plastic and, if you really tried, they could break but with normal use, they hold up really well. Even my son has snatched these wands from his sister just to make her mad and he's pretty rough on toys. Still, they are in the same condition as when we opened the package! there are four wands, each with their own design:. . One silver wand with a star and pink painted-on jewel accents. One pink wand with a butterfly and pink painted-on jewel accents. One gold wand with a heart and green and pink painted-on jewel accents. One purple/pink wand with a teardrop shape and pink painted-on accents. . We have been so happy with the purchase of these wands and my daughter uses them every day! they are great for imaginative play and it's fun to see the different games she comes up with to play using these wands. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about these and highly recommend them to anyone with a little girl who is interested in princesses and playing dress-up. We have had such good experiences with all of the melissa & doug products and will continue to buy more of their products. These wands are very reasonably priced, built of good-quality materials, and are really pretty! if you are contemplating buying these, i think these are some of the best wands out there for the price, durability, and pretty designs and i think every little girl would love to have these! . . *update 10/16/2016 - my daughter has had these wands since christmas last year and loves them! she will use them multiple times a day and they have mostly held up nicely. One of the wands broke only because my son decided to break it in half. We used some duct tape to repair it and she's still able to use it. I bought these for my 3 year old son's birthday. He is obsessed with abby cadabby from sesame street so i thought this would be a cute gift. They are nice and sturdy and the wands aren't super thin like a lot of the ones i saw on here.

My 3 year old loves these! it's nice to have a set for play dates, siblings or even mommy and daddy. There's a matching crown set that complement the wands perfectly. They seem more heavy duty than others we have had so they will last forever. Or until we outgrow the princess phase. I'm not sure which will be first!

This is an adorable little set of tiaras. I bought this for my neighbor's 3 year old, who loves to play "princess. " she loved having enough tiaras for herself and her friends. My 3 year old loved receiving these tiaras! we had purchased the cheap plastic ones for her birthday, but they extras we kept for her just broke so easily that i investigated into something better. - E. OpheliaSurprisingly sturdy favorites, still all intact after months of play. Our now nearly 4 year old granddaughter has used these sweet dress up crowns for hours of play. The plastic is very sturdy, the gems are well attached and the combs at the back of the band are also sturdy. These have been a focal point of playtime with friends, and played a big part in this summer's "fairy night". Although similar in design, the 4 are each quite different and fit multiple sized children. Great product.
I like that they don't have stones that could be lost. They are just as pretty as any other dress up crowns i have seen, and are nicer than most. My only complaint is that the lavender and pink ones are a little tight on my 4 yr old's head (she is a little big for her age, though. ) she still wears them, just not for extended periods of time, and has not complained. It was just my observation that they are a little tight. Still happy with my purchase! . . Update: april 14, 2016. My 5. 5 yr old daughter still loves these tiaras. I noticed yesterday that the silver one has some chipping on the edges, but they still sparkle and shine, and she still seeks them out to wear them herself and force her brothers to wear them. The painted 'stones' are not chipped at all, there is no fading. Still very happy with my purchase!
