The plastic forms and tray are detailed but sturdy. The animal forms make very cute imprints, and the structure molds provide many options for building. The roller tool is clever, rolls well and can make at least 5 different imprints. For a very reasonable price, you get a quality and multi-component toy that is really fun with the molding sand. My 3 and 9 year old have had great fun playing with the set together.

My daughter had used a similar product to kinetic sand before but never at home. When she asked for some for her birthday, the sand molds seemed like a natural extension of the fun. I could not have been more right. She is now 10 and loves using the various pieces of the molds to build castles, make designs and generally let her imagination flourish. Good and usable, even for small children. The only issue we've had is the small rolling bar that came apart when my 6 year old pushed down in the sand with it. Great for the kinetic sand that we bought her for christmas.

The castles and tools are fun and useful, but don't care for the sea creatures molds. The sea creature ones are a little hard to see what they are in the sand since there are 'waves' in the design.
