Fisher-price Baby’s First Blocks Rock Stack Bundle (Fisher Price) 3315

Review for fisher price babys first blocks bundle

Price was $21.88. I purchased these first blocks and ring stacker for my son who is now almost 11 months old. I had both of these toys for my other children when they were babies and since they are so far apart in age, i didn't have any baby toys left anymore and i purchased these again for the second time. I love these toys. They are very well made and very durable - there is no breaking either of these toys. There are no little pieces and no pieces to break off and cause any choking hazard. My son loves playing with both of them. He is fascinated by putting things into this bucket with the shape blocks and loves to place the rings on the holder. Both of these toys have helped him immensely with fine motor skills and hand and eye coordination. The ring stacker comes with the thing that holds the rings and then five different sized rings (blue, green, yellow, orange and red/clear). They are easy for my son to hold and move around. The smallest ring has little beads in it that rattle and make noise. The shape blocks comes with the bucket with the yellow lid that is easy to put on and take off and it has a handle. There are 10 block shapes (2 of each shape) that go with the bucket (square, circle, triangle, star and cross shapes). It is very sturdy and this is also easy for my son to hold and play with. Both are very easy to clean and they will last a lifetime if you wanted to keep them that long. I would highly recommend both of these toys - they are a must have for every baby.

Preamble

It's been about 7 months since i purchased this for my daughter and it still gets play time from time to time. Very pleased with this purchase as it's a very simple, robust, classic toy, i don't know if i can really call this a toy because its much more than that. It really helps with development and learning, this was how my daughter learned her colors, shapes and problem solving (why it was important to put them in the correct order or they didn't all fit). The one thing that could have been done differently is the lid, it doesn't fasten onto the container but just rests on top. The shapes and easy to handle and clean, you can't go wrong with this set. The Best Fisher-Price Baby's First Blocks and Rock Stack Bundle as-of ( Jun 2021 ) | Fisher Price-Toys And Games Review Reviews Fisher-Price Baby's First Blocks and Rock Stack Bundle Rock-a-stack toy lets baby sort & stack the five colorful rings, then bat at the wobbly rocker base to discover what happens. Baby's first blocks offer put & take play, as well as stacking, sorting and matching to help baby develop problem-solving skills. Grasping & sorting help baby develop finger & hand dexterity; placing blocks in bucket helps strengthen eye-hand coordination. Stacking rings on the base from biggest to smallest helps baby understand the concept of relative size. This duo of classic fisher-price toys will keep baby busy through every age, from infant to toddler - providing crawling to sitting to walking play .

Fisher-Price Baby's First Blocks and Rock Stack Bundle Review (BJT80)

There's a reason why classic toys like these stay popular. The shapes are by far my 9 month old daughter's favorite toys! she loves to bang them together, hand them to me, and we have even played with them at the beach, pool, and bathtub. It's so easy to throw a few in my diaper bag to keep her entertained when we go food shopping or out to eat. She also loves to play with the stacking rings. While she is not yet using the shapes to insert in the shape holes or stack the rings, i can see the functionality of this toy lasting a long time as she develops. Who needs music, flashing lights, and fancy toys when these two simple toys can provide so much entertainment. -D. Smith

Great toys! these are pretty classic, hard to go wrong here. The lid to the bucket just sits on top, though, and the circle hole is big enough for my daughter to fit her hand through to grab the blocks. It was pretty funny when she couldn't pull her fist out while holding the block, which resulted in her wearing the lid like some kind of horrible plastic manacle. However, it did teach her to be smarter than a raccoon by dropping the block and pulling her hand out, so it's quite educational in that regard. Edutainment at its finest.

I love the top circle having beads in it to make it rattle and make noise. The box of blocks the lid will not securely stay on which is kind of a bummer as it makes it vety easy to have all the blocks fall out when my son is trying tocarry it somewhere and drops it as he isnt an expert walker yet by any means. Over all it's very good toys to keep your little one busy while you get stuff done. It mskes it easy and fun to teach them colors, shapes and stacking as well."

Sassy Developmental Bumpy Ball

This has been a total hit with our family's smallest member. At 8 months old she is fascinated with things that are easy to grasp, visually appealing, and chewable. We like the fact that there is nothing loose, small, sharp, etc. We have had a number of good sassy products over the years, and this toy is another nice product and kid pleaser. We are not seeing any of the "stuffing" issues that some earlier reviewers have mentioned, and we do check over everything very carefully. I will revise the review if we run into any issues.

The bright colors, bold patterns and easy-to-grasp bumps make the sassy bumpy ball a must-have. The high contrast colors of the ball allow baby to focus, strengthening vision. The gentle rattle sounds from the trapped beads create neural connections in baby s brains from birth through 3 years of age. Chunky sized bumps on the ball encourage reaching, grasping, and transferring from one hand to another, developing baby s motor skill. The differing materials engage baby s developing tactile sensitivity and teach baby about variety.

This is a great learning toy for a younger baby. My daughter has been playing with this since she was about 3 months old. All the colors and patterns are great for focusing and it's small and light enough that she can move it around on her own.

Sassy-developmental-bumpy-ball-(80109) set picture

- R. EmilyThis does come straight from china, for anyone concerned, but it's well made and doesn't have any chemical smells. A good rinse off out of the bag and a decent air-dry should make it good to go. The colors are fun and stimulating, and the rattle catches any kid's attention. There's not a lot of different textures to feel, but it's fun to roll back and forth between the kiddo and myself. It's soft and squishy enough that it's one of my kid's favorites.

This toy is a hit with my almost 5 mont old twins. Variety of textures and sounds keeps them entertained for a little bit, more than other toys. It's easy for them to grab. They even smile to it. I am happy. No loose threads or dangerous parts. Good buy for little ones.

VTech Drop Go Dump Truck

My 18 month old received this as a gift. He loves pulling it along behind himself. The "rocks" take a little effort to push through from the top of the truck and he occasionally gets frustrated by that. But he'll just toss them directly into the bucket and go on his merry way. The sound has two levels and plays the typical vtech songs and sounds. Cute little toy, great for gift giving (as long as it's going to a family that isn't anti-noisy toy)!

Learning is tons of fun with the drop and go dump truck by vtech. Drop a colorful rock into the top of this cute toy dump truck, and watch it tumble into the bucket. Your little one will learn numbers as the interactive truck counts each rock. Once the rocks are in the bucket, push or pull the truck along to see the rocks rumble inside. Then, lift the hinged bucket to unload the rocks and start again while developing motor skills. The dump truck also includes 3 colorful buttons that play melodies, phrases and teach tools and colors. Requires 2 aaa batteries (batteries included for demo purposes only; new batteries recommended for regular use). Intended for ages 6 months to 3 years.

My 1 year old son just loooves this dump truck. (and so does his big sister who's 4. ) it's so fun to watch him drag it around, play with it, giggle when it lights up. It just makes me smile to see him having fun (and also subconsciously learning cause and effect. This is a great buy to entertain little ones for a good hour or so. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep little ones happy. -Notice from X. Medina, Hillingdon

My son loves this, got it for him when he was 1 and he's almost two now and he still likes it. Other things (i. E. Legos, matchbox cars) fit in the hole too, so he has endless fun with this. He can pull it around, play with the dump truck feature, play with the buttons and put the ball in the hole, so it has a lot of different ways to play with it.

Vtech-drop-go-dump-truck-(80-166500) set picture

- U. JessicaThis is a hit at our house with my 7 month old son. He love chasing the balls when he throws them across the room. He can pull the truck by the string and thinks it's pretty neat. The sound effects are not too annoying like some other toys.

I got this for my grandson on his one year birthday. He loves it, and caught on quickly how to push the balls through the top of the truck's cab, which then go into the dump bed. The toy will count the balls as you put them in. The biggest problem with this toy is keeping track of the balls, which tend to roll away and get lost under the furniture. I guess they could solve this by making the balls lumpy as with another toy i bought for his three year old brother. (the wolvol 3-in-1 construction bulldozer. ).

Playskool Play Favorites Busy Poppin' Pals

This toy is a classic. My kids had a playskool poppin' pals when they were little over 20 years ago, and i just purchased one for my grandson. It is just as well made as the original one we had and just as fun. It's the perfect toy for object permanence and cause and effect, and it helps with fine motor practice with a built in reward when the animal pops up. I've also seen toys like this called a surprise box. Some of the knobs/buttons are easier than others to use. Ideal toy starting around age 9 months, or when the baby can sit easily and is interested in manipulating knobs and buttons and making things happen.

Reward your child s exploration and discovery with this hands-on activity toy! with a slide, push, pull, turn and press, your child will be building fine motor skills and having fun as the colorful animals pop up to the corresponding action there s even a built-in handle for on-the-go play, so your little one can take this fun anywhere and everywhere! pop-up activity toy introduces your child to different shapes, animals and cause-and-effect play and rewards all of these discoveries with colorful critters! ages 9 months and up. This is a cute toy i had purchased for my almost 8 month old, and he is quite fond of it. He usually likes anything that makes a sound, plays music or that he can gnaw on. So, i try to make sure that i buy him toys that are good for his age now, but that will also help me reach milestones as he gets older. I'd say this is definitely a good developmental toy. . At 8 months old, he isn't able to use any of the buttons to make the the animals pop up, with the exception of the middle one that is just a press button. This will definitely be a hit as he gets a little older, but right now he enjoys seeing them pop up. -Notice from H. Teresa, Bracknell Forest

This was a gift for our 6 month old granddaughter and it was definitely a hit! very colorful and easy to use. The buttons work perfectly and the pop up animals snap shut with no problem. This immediately became one of her favorite toys and she takes it with her on long car rides. Highly recommend!

Playskool-play-favorites-busy-poppin'-pals-(6205) set picture

- B. ElizabethMy just 2-year-old has enjoyed this poppin' pals toy for a whole year. She loves the animals. She started by saying the sounds they make (giraffes make a chewing noise, we learned) and can now say all of their names. It took her a while to learn to turn the lion "key" latch which was a frustration and a welcome challenge depending on the day. She also likes to pretend to count the animals. I love hearing "i did it! " i also like that it is lightweight and aside from a potential direct drop onto a foot, i don't worry about her carrying it. I like that it doesn't need batteries and doesn't play music or make other electronic noise. If you're looking for a simple toy that is fun, i recommend this one. I took one reviewer's advice, and before giving to my daughter, i put clear packing tape over the decorative stickers. They have lasted very well this way.

This is a great tool for gaining motor skills! both my kids 3 years & 18 months of age like this. My 3 year old, had a hard time pushing down the last switch but it wasn't because she wasn't strong enough, it was because her determination was lacking. When she saw her cousin do it and the praise we gave her for doing it, she immediately followed suit and pushed down the last switch. My son loves puzzles and toys like this so he was able to complete it by the time he turned one. I think it really just depends on how interested your child is in the toy. If they seem bored with it, just bring it out again in a month or two and they may show interest again!

I got a great deal on this set ($13. 99 from online store) and so far we've given the ring stack to my 7 month old daughter and she loves them. When she's a little older we'll give her the blocks and i'm sure she'll have a good time with them too. Overall this is a nice toy set for a baby.

At first i thought this toy might be a bit below my 21 month old's development, but she loved to put things in boxes and take them out. She also was still very into nesting blocks so for this price i decided to give this a try. She absolutely loves it and some of the shapes were a challenge for her at first. Even her three year old brother gets a kick out of it, i wish i had bought this sooner. They play together with it and he talks to her about the colors and tries to help her when she's having trouble. The lid on the box comes off easily so the child can dump out the pieces and start again. She absolutely loves the little handle and sometimes puts other toys inside of the box so that she can carry it around. Beautiful vibrant colors, not a toy that just gets shoved in a box and never played with. Highly recommend.

Bought for my daughter and my nephew. It was a better deal to buy them together at the time. My daughter liked putting the shapes in and stacking. I almost got the tupperware one, but this is just as great, cheaper, and comes with 2 toys instead of just 1. Also, my daughter could open the top and get the shapes out to start over again.

A. Kristen, Alberta

Baby loves it. Top opens easy enough for her to empty it.

I have been learning a lot about toys in the last few months because i am a firat mother. My daughter is very active an alert. I needed toys that keep her distracted not only teddy bears. She has used this toy very intensively since 5 month old. Pros. Easy to carry around. Easy to clean. . My favourite uses are the fact that i can carry the box to the garden with one hand and my daughter in the other. And the fact that she can play while eating and i can clean the pieces in thw dishwasher. . Cons. Maybe could be the price. . Really a great ser of toys. Perfect for a present

X. Crawford, Rotherham

This rocking bundle is exactly what i was hoping for. Unlike cheaper versions that i've seen at walmart, it is solidly built and safe for use. It is brightly colored and attractive to my 10 month old son and he loves the top ring that is clear with colored rattling beads inside it. He does not seem to care much about the fact that the toy rocks, but he is able to put the rings on the base regardless. I am really glad i bought the fisher-price bundle instead of a cheap knock-off. . The blocks are fine - they are colorful, solidly made, and easy to grip. They fit easily into the slots in the case. That said, the case itself is somewhat cheaply made. The top does not latch on and is fairly loose, so its a little too easy to knock it over and spill its contents. I know the point is for kids to be able to remove the blocks easily, but it would be nice if it had a securable option. It's also rather small, which is nice for storage, but there's no room in it for other toys aside from the ones it was designed for so don't expect to use it for anything else. If this had not come as a combo deal, i probably would not have bought this block set.

Love love love these toys! fisher price makes the best toys. When we go to the hospital for our daughters surgery, the hospital carries all of her toys she has at home. They use these in physical therapy tooo. She loves these toys so much. When we were at the hospital, her eyes lit up bc she saw the same toys she has. It's a good feeling. Hard to explain but it made her feel at easy seeing her fav toys in an unfamiliar place.

Q. Alberta, Nova Scotia

Great classic toys. I gave it four stars only because of its name: "first" blocks. Our baby is now five months and is started to becoming very interested in toys, and while she has taken a definite shining to many of her toys, her interest in these took a while. This is most likely due to the size of the pieces. She is only now able to put the rings in her mouth (what she does with all of her toys), and the blocks are still a bit hard for her to handle. That being said, the colors are great, as is the rattle in the smallest red ring. With time i think she will use these all the time and love them, but i'd recommend a different product if you're looking for a child's first toys.

The bucket and blocks have been a major hit with both my grandchildren (the boy is 4 months, and the girl 8 months). I'd say they spend more time focussed on removing the blocks from the bucket than on any other pastime. The rings get removed from the stand easily enough as well. Both toys grow well with babies and toddlers - at least, they had a permanent place in my house while my own children were growing up.

I'm not sure where her rock stack portion is (maybe at grandmom's place) but this bucket has been my baby girl's go to toy since we got it. She has loved and dismissed almost all of her other toys but her bucket and blocks have been loved from the first time she saw it. She loves trying to get the blocks in through the shapes and dumping them back out. She even loves playing clean-up with her blocks. They are bright colors so you can't miss them but beware the circle shape will find its way underneath your couch!

I got these for my daughter for christmas. She was 12 months and now she's 14 months. She's been playing with them for the past 2 months and she loves them! she loves picking the blocks up and putting them in the box and taking them out again. Although she hasn't quite figured out she's supposed to do the shapes through the top. And the rings she just chews on all day lol! i do believe it's for 18 months and up but it doesn't hurt to get them a little early to encourage learning. Thank you for this bundle!

I bought this set for my 6 month old last week. Haven't played too much with them since i've been so busy and we've mostly been out doing errands lately but the few times he's played with them he enjoys it. Hasn't fully gotten the concept of putting the blocks in the slots or the rings in the pole but he grabs the blocks and examines them and they're shape and likes to bang them to together to make loud noises or toss them inside the box. As for the rings he mostly just likes to chew on them or toss them around and hope they roll (he figured out that he could do that and he gets a real kick out of it). So, for the purpose of putting them a certain way, they have not been used but he still enjoys playing with them and he's learning more each time we play together. Overall, i love them and i think they're perfect for my curious little one.

These are still my twins favorite toys in the house. Hands down. My 9 month old twins have plenty of toys scattered just about everywhere. This set, especially the blocks, are still their go to favorites. The electronic toys we have that make noise and light usually last about 15 minutes before the kids get bored but these blocks they seem to play with for hours. They love the bucket! i kid you not, they gravitate to it like it was magnetic. With or without the blocks themselves they are huge fans of playing with the little red bucket and the yellow lid. The whole set holds up really well to abuse. I just wish my wood floors could say the same. . Combined with the stacking rings i would highly recommend getting both. They are well worth it!
