I think the dragon and doll are both super cute and the detail is good enough for one of these pop figures. I just think it's a bit overpriced. The figures usually run around ten bucks and this thing was nearly three times that. So i'm giving it 4 stars, otherwise, it would totally be 5, so if you're okay with the price, then consider this a great toy. Oh, and daenerys comes off the dragon but she's frozen in riding form. -A. Josephine

Answer: I bought both rhaegal and viserion, 6 inch pop figures and they are both in a fixed "squatting" position. Compared to the one of drogon with daenerys on his back, drogon is almost on his belly or crawling and preparing for flight. (4) Question: How is the packaging for these? i'm looking to buy but am an in-box collector, and it looks like there are several reviews with box damage.
Answer: I cant speak for anyone else, but i too am a collector of the box and all. The box my pop came in was in perfect condition. It was sent in a box and was well protected inside.
(5) Question: Is this the real thing? i was told it wouldn't be available until april
Answer: Yes, it is. Online store does not allow fake products to be sold here unlike the anaibaba/taobao site from the prc.

Answer: I believe the length is the same (did not take it out and measure it) but they look like it. Your getting more of the figure in a different pose with khalessi figure.
(9) Question: How are drogon's eyes glowing red? is it special paint or do they actually light up?
Answer: No light's just painted

As soon as i saw daenerys flying off on drogon's back, i knew i wanted a pop of it and funko delivered! it is easily one of the most unique pop rides that they have for sale. The detail on the dragon is incredible and it is very well made. Even the daenerys pop looks great! . . My only complaint is dany's hair. Why funko insists on gluing extra pieces of hair on instead of having it be part of the full sculpt is beyond me. The color never matches and it always looks bad. This dany has two pieces of hair that have been attached. The hair on the left side is in much worse condition than the hair on the right. And speaking of hair, dany has white hair. Not yellow. . Overall, i'm happy with the pop, i just wish funko would stop gluing on these extra pieces of hair.

The true heir to the iron throne finally comes in a funko pop design that is absolutely stunning, incredible, and truly shows off the true power of drogon & daenerys and will look exceptional in your collection. . I have read other reviews that you can even take daenerys off of drogon, i cannot confirm that as i keep my funko pop figures in the box, but i can confirm that this funko pop figure is absolutely beautifully designed and a must for any game of thrones fan.

You really cannot go wrong with a got pop, but this one just hits it right out of the park. The cuteness of little dani combined with the adorableness of drogon is a lethal combination. I did not even look at the price as i clicked to add this to my shopping cart-i did not care, i had to have it! dani is actually separate from drogon, but she is molded to fit onto his back, so she really cannot be displayed in any other way. I have an iron throne pop as well, and i hoped this dani would be able to sit on it, but she doesn't-she fits, but she isn't in the right position. . Pops are becoming more intricate and detailed, and overall, the quality has stepped up too. Early on, pops were a mixed bag of painting and mold errors. However i have rarely encountered severe issues of late, so ordering sight unseen is no longer a huge gamble. The biggest problem is getting an undamaged box. Unfortunately my dani/drogon arrived in a box with a ripped display window and a dented corner. But the actual pop was pristine and painted with exacting detail, so i am actually happy the box was messed up, because otherwise i would not have opened it and removed it. Now i can see all the details and just enjoy the pop from all sides.

I have been a collector of funko for over a year now. My "addiction" started when i received one of these cute figures in a monthly subscription box and now i have over 200 of them! funko makes a variety of product lines, but the funko pop line consists of vinyl figures and bobble heads. If you care about one and not the other, you will need to see which type your choice character is. Sadly, there seems to be more bobble heads recently and i prefer the figures, but if i like a character, i buy it regardless. I collect these in the box, while my spouse prefers to take them out and have them on a shelf. Regardless of how you display them, funko pop vinyl figures will make an awesome edition to any nerd wall, pop culture collection, or your desk at work! . . Daenerys is my favorite character and this oversize pop is just excellent!

Pop rides drogon and daenerys is really cool and very well detailed. Daenerys comes in a different pose body wise to all her other pop vinyl versions (as well as all other pop vinyls i've come across). In this one she's got the chinese martial arts film pose where they jump into the air with legs apart and arms in front with palms up facing the attackers and somehow can hover there for a few seconds before dispatching every attacker in the room. So on a desk or flat surface she doesn't actually stand on her legs, but tilts back onto the tail part of her dress that is flowing backwards. Of course you can put her on the drogon display stand and she sits with one leg over each side behind dragon's wings in front of his own back legs quite well. You can also display drogon on his side and she sits nicely on his wing or side of his head. But i imagine he doesn't really like the latter two positions. You can also simply display daenerys beside drogon as unlike the other pop rides display stands, he doesn't have a rectangle bit in him for a pop vinyl to go inside, so therefore he is detailed all over. Even underneath. The detail is amazing, you can see heaps of clearly defined scales, he has pointy things coming out of him, the paint job is mostly black but is different shades or red where needed. Both drogon and daenerys look seriously good. . Comparing it to other pop ride display stands with this one, you can really only fit daenerys on it, whereas the other display stands such as breaking bad rv, back to the future delorean and ghostbusters ecto 1, you can display three or four figures standing on the stand. You can put other figures on the drogon display stand, the ones with the normal legs cowboy style stance stand easily on drogon's back legs. Female pop vinyls such as with baby dragon on wrist and the other versions of daenerys where their feet are together don't stay on drogon as well but you can tuck one under one of his wings where it is sort of leaning on the side of his leg. You can't move drogon's legs, tail, wings or head at all. His jaw doesn't open and shut, he just has the one stance. Likewise with daenerys, her limbs don't move, her head can rotate slightly, but due to her hair catching on her hand or dress, you can't rotate her head all the way round like you can with most pop vinyls. By the way she is the same size as other versions of herself and other funko pop vinyls. . The box this comes in is the same width as other pop rides but is as tall the breaking bad crystal ship's one. It also displays pretty nicely in the box if you choose to put it back in there, with windows in the box allowing you to see drogon and daenerys from above and three sides. You can open the box without damaging it too, which is always good and something i wish other manufacturers of figures would learn from. . Unfortunately like all funko pop vinyls there are paint blemishes on both the stand and figure. On mine drogon has some white paint behind his mouth on his lower jaw and daenerys has some black paint in her hair which makes her look a bit dirty. But i imagine she would get quite dirty marching across different kingdoms so i can live with that. Where the paint blemishes on the figure you get will be located, will likely be different. It's always a gamble with these things unfortunately.

Pop rides dragon and daenerys is an amazing item to add to your got pop vinyl collection! daenerys comes in a different pose than her other pops. The detail on this piece is very nice and looks better than some previous pop vinyls. The detail just keep getting better and better. . The hair on daenerys is great and is also different than the other versions of her, because it includes those perfect ringlets that we saw her wearing in this episode. The detail is amazing on drogon, all of the teeth are perfect and each scale is highlighted. One of my favorite pieces from the got pop line. I also have the iron throne and of course this khaleesi figure looks the best on it. ; )
