Such a cheap and awesome gift for kids. My 2 year old loves it. I bought a cheap clamp at a hardware store to clamp the top of the track to a counter or table. My little boy loves putting the cars on the track and watching it go down. I also bought a hot wheels loop to make it more interesting. Still with this 15ft of track by itself it allows plenty of length to create your own track designs or ramps. I wish i had this when i was a kid. The loop was like $20 and other hot wheels track accessories get pretty expensive considering what they do. This is easily the best value hot wheels track. -G. Annette

My son hasn't stopped playing with this since we put it together! it was easily assembled and seems to be sturdy enough for my rough playing toddler. This is great addition to any hot wheels collection and seems to be able to be used with most standard hot wheel vehicles. Some of the crashed and cars flying could be dangerous for little ones eyes if they aren't monitored closely. Item was shipped in good packaging and arrived on time.
The hot wheels criss cross crash track set has four intersecting crash zones and a car feeder ramp for amped up action. Kids can line up their hot wheels cars and let 'em rip for near misses or total wipeouts. With more than 16 feet of track that includes hairpin turns, motorized boosters and a giant crash zone, kids can enjoy crash-and-bash fun for hours on end. Includes parking spaces throughout the set for additional storage and safe guards for kids over the crash zones. Comes with one hot wheels vehicle. Not for use with some hot wheels vehicles.

Some of the hot wheels sets are more fun, and more durable and solid, than others. This one is at the higher end of the scale, in our experience. . It looks a little flimsy, but actually assembles into a fairly stable configuration. There's some flex in the outer curves, but that doesn't affect the operation. Once assembled it can be carried, carefully, from one place to another, but it's not really a very portable toy. . The cars really move at speed and it's hard to resist reaching in to grab crashed cars, but hot wheels vehicles are lightweight enough that we didn't have any injured fingers. . While the set only comes with one car almost all hot wheels cars will work on it, so that wasn't an issue for us. . Most of these types of sets only allow for one, or maybe two, players at a time. This set was especially nice because four kids can work the four curves without getting too much in each others' way. And racing/crashing is sort of the point, anyway. . It takes four "d" batteries, which is not a size you see that much any more, (remember when pretty much everything used "d's"), so think ahead to avoid disappointment. Our batteries are lasting pretty well, but laying in a second set wouldn't be a bad idea. . So, this was the big present, and it didn't disappoint. We were very happy with it. -Notice from N. This is the coolest hot wheels anything i have ever seen. Talk about making 6 year old boys (and their 8 year old sisters) happy -they spend a long time trying to get the cars to time just right, and they spend just as much time finding cars that are just perfect for the high speed track - i am 50 and i still think this is cool. Much of the newer hot wheels items have not held the interest of our kids, but this does. Cool, compact (relative to most hot wheels "nothing-else-can-go-in-the-room-while-this-is-here" items), and a thrill for the kids.

I am sooo glad i chose this track set! it was exciting for him to get such a big box gift, of course. But the excitement intensified thereafter as well. He and his parents had it set up and running in minutes. And all 3 were having a ball playing with it. My grandson played by himself all afternoon, only stopping when it was time to leave. The whole family was anxious to get it home to connect it to their previous hot wheels track sets. All were amazed to find that all hot wheels cars, new and old, worked well staying on track. Until the crashes of course! money very well spent
Everything a 6 year old boy loves. Hot wheels and lots of crashing. This is a really fun set. Once you sticker it up and figure out the bad drawing instructions it is good fun. My son loved sticking cars onto the track and usually after the 3rd or 4th they would smack together in a satisfying crash. With 4 crash zones you are sure to get some "epic carnage. " it says it links together with other tracks but that is only in one spot, the intake track. Anything else would mess up the closed circuit that is required to make this work.
