We have loved watching family feud on tv for a long time. I have both the wii version and the computer version and this actually works better for us. It is basically the questions and the answers with "x" cards to mark the strikes. We figured out a great way to play it last night. We each had a white board and markers. We put the cards in the box so that only the question showed. We both read the question. Then we each wrote down our favorite answers on our own white boards (so the other could not see). At first we were going to time it, but that was not really necessary, there is a natural pause after each person has thought of at least 6 or 7 answers. Then we read the real answers. We scored our answers by the points shown on the card. For every answer we had that did not match any on the card we put an x where the score should be. We were allowed 3 x's on our board and any words after 3 x's no longer counted in our totals. The winner was the one with the higher score. We can't wait to try it out with a larger group. I bought the family feud strikeout card game as a stocking stuffer for my husband, he is a fan of the family feud. I can't give a full review until after he actually plays the game, but i'm sure the game will be enjoyed. The cards are of a standard size and made with a protective coating.

I read the reviews before i bought it and someone mentioned they used a dry erase board. I took one and it really made the game flow well. I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to playing again with the whole gang at thanksgiving.
This was a fun game to play with our friends for our christmas party. We played girls vs. Boys. I took the suggestion of getting a dry eraser board to keep score. This worked great! everyone had a great time! unfortunately the boys won! i know we will be playing it again for our next big get together! highly recommend!

What a fun game! i bought this for my family of mostly adults and one 17 year old. . It's difficult to explain the game here, but trust me. It is a lot of fun. Every game, we are laughing, yelling, cheering, or quietly planning our next move. We play this on the dining table, drinking sodas and eating chips, pizzas, buffalo wings, and other snacks. . There are a few things that you may want to bend the rules on a little bit. And there are some minor things that the official rules do not address. But after playing a few games, you'll discover what works best for your group of players and agree to some additional rules. I recommend playing this game with 3 or 5 people. 2 players is not enough and 6 players is too many. The only negative aspect is the cards are too thin and too easily bendable or folded at the edges. They could have use a higher weight paper with better coating to increase its longevity. Or perhaps they planned to have it wear out quickly so you'll have to buy another deck.

My wife and i have gotten hooked on this game. It involves strategic thinking but is pretty simple too. True to what it says, one game can played in 15 minutes or less. It's ideal for 2-3 players. I don't think it would be as much fun once you go beyond 4 but i haven't played with more than 3 yet so i wouldn't really know. I only gave it 4 stars because there are some situations that come up where they don't have rules to explain what is allowable or not. We've had to make up several house rules to keep things fair and consistent.
