Great for 7 year old. My daughter saw this set at a lego store while on vacation in chicago. We talked her into waiting and getting a souvenir elsewhere, but didn't end up going to that place and she was sad that she didn't get this. Online store came through! and at a better price! she built the set quickly (under an hour) and loves it. She was surprised to find that emma makes bows. Not sure that she looked too closely at it before falling in love, but either way it's great for her and she loves it.
Lego friends emma's creative workshop has everything emma needs to bring her designs to life including a whiteboard with sewing patterns and sticky notes, a sewing machine with sewing accessories, and a window desk with a camera and computer for taking and sharing pictures. Includes an emma mini-doll figure.

Really cute and detailed little lego set. Only con i can say is i wish they made the girl's hair less tasty, as our dog ate it the first night. Even still, cute set with bald girls :-)

An awesome lego set, i got it for my almost 5 y-old who adores volcanoes, and he couldn't be more thrilled. The volcano is great and does take some building. The instructions are very clear and he managed to build the whole thing almost on his own. He does have good motor skill and can be very focused when interested, but still, he's not 5 yet. Take the little puppy to agility training! help the puppy practice weaving in and out of the cones and running up the seesaw, waiting for it to tip before running down the other side. Then give her a long run up and watch her leap over the water jump with ease. Throw the stick and when she brings it back, fill up her water bowl for a good drink and give her a treat. After all that hard work, puppy deserves a lie down in her comfy bed. Combine with the 41085 vet clinic to make a great clinic garden. Includes a puppy.

My 5yo received the lego friends animal hospital and an online store gift card for her birthday, so this was a great inexpensive supplement. She loves the details like the bow for the puppy's hair and the little stick for her to fetch. . Lego made a great call including the seesaw, since that gives her and the puppy something to interact with, making this as much a true play set as a building set. The down side is about half of the 65 pieces are little one-pip bricks, so the number of actual building legos this set contributes to a larger collection is pretty small. .
