You'll need rechargeable batteries (sold seperately) for the car. It runs out of battery pretty quickly. It also seems to be reacting to some other wireless signal in the house (not sure if it's a microwave, washing machine, phone? ) because if i leave it on it spontaneously jitters as if someone quickly hit forward. Maybe it's haunted. . It's very cute. It's not fast or anything but my 14mo baby was able to figure out how to use the remote control since you just have to push a button for it to either go forward or backwards. It has a little wheel under the car so when you reverse it reverses in a bit of a circle. So basically you are going forward or reversing to 'turn'. Since it only turns it one direction this can be a bit clunky. But for a toddler it is perfectly simple. . Loses signal after very short distances. But it's got a cool song and beep beep. You can remove the little driver, too, which my son seems to enjoy doing.

I bought this as a gift for my 11 month old during christmas and it was aaaaawwwweeeeeesommmmmmmeeeeee! it's fast, it's accurate, it's easy steering, it makes my son laugh and clap his hands when the music comes on. Sometimes he likes to pull the little blue guy off and carry it with him or chew on his hard plastic head. The remote only has two buttons but that's all you need. It easily and accurately turns around with no problem. I honestly did not have high expectations for this product at all since it was made for very young babies. I just thought it would be a cute little toy for him to have since his older brother was getting a big boy remote control truck. However, when i opened this up for my baby son and added batteries, it took him maybe 10 minutes to under stand the concept and after that he loved it! the box says for 18 months and up but like i said my 11 month old plays with this toy for long periods of time through out the day. We even take it outside and have fun with it with his big brothers. He was seriously amazed how the controller moved the car. I am amazed at the great quality this toy is made. My grandson loves his little car. We did have to compromise on its usage while i was there because the music can be a bit much. So we agreed that it was either the movie on the tv or the car.

I wanted to keep it here at my place (grammy's) but he loved it so much, he had to take it home! he has no problem using the small remote to control the car, even tho he holds it backwards, and absolutely loves chasing the car around the house. The toy is made very well, my grandson picks the car up by its antenna and i've tried to tell him the correct way to pick it up, but he continues to pick it up by its antenna. I find it has not broken off "yet" and therefore find the toy car very durable to a 2 yr olds playing! i just received my second remote car now to keep here. Now he has one at home and one here when he comes to grammys!

Bought this for my 17month old son. Yo this thing is awesome. I drive it around and he chases it. It runs on 2 aa's for the car and its still going after almost a month on 2 batteries in the car. The remote requires 1 aa. And same goes for the remote. My son has now torn the plastic sheating off of the antenna on the car and even the wire underneath is bent in a way so i don't think it would puncture the skin. I am still comfortable letting him play with it. The only feature i would alter is the ability to turn down the volume of the noises the car makes. It starts to get annoying when he bonks the driver on the head and the car yells "vroom vrooooom". Hence why i drive the car away from the boy. When you think about it though. I hate the noise because i'm keeping score if he gets it he wins. If i keep it away from him i'm winnin. Lol. But hey it's a fun toy.

Now my nephew has a hog just like his uncle lol. Well a pedal powered one but he still thinks he's king of the road or sidewalk lol. It's overall pretty light, seems like it's mostly plastic but it works fine for him. Guess we'll see if he destroys it or not. For now i'll give it a 5 and downgrade if it falls apart anytime soon. Overall quality is like a 4, just all plastic, but for a small kid they'll have fun on it. Pedals are just a bit long for my 3yo nephew, but he loves to sit on it and scoot around which is great, burn some of that crazy energy lol. . It comes all unassembled, theres 3 phillips screws that hold the handlebar in place. 2 more for each side of the front forks that hold the front wheel on. The rear wheels have a white plastic piece that goes on the insides of each wheel. The cone orange on the outside of the wheel, then you hammer the end of rod that holds it all in place, and the small orange caps are hard to get on, but they just snap on. Relatively easy assumbly.

Tough enough for years of outdoor adventures! kids will love cruising along on this harley-davidson styled trike with durable and rugged tires that help take them wherever they want to go. Likes. -even though it is made out of plastic, it feels strong and durable. - easy for kids to use and is fun for my almost 3 year old daughter. My 5 year old enjoys riding it too. - storage under the seat is convenient to hold items. When we go to the park, i put my iphone 6s+ in it with the keys so i can shoot basketball. Most people wouldn't think to look under the seat anyway, so i feel like items inside are safe. - easy to put together. I took me around 15 minutes. . Dislikes. - wheels are hollow plastic, so it will make a decent amount of noise when going over concrete/pavers. We didn't realize this until we got it. We were used to the kid bike that our other daughter rides around that makes almost no noise because the tires are rubber.

Her feet don't yet reach the pedals but she loves using her feet to propel herself both forward and backwards. She was immediately able to steer the trike and it is stable enough for her to get on and off without tipping it over. We are looking forward to this spring when she will be able to reach the pedals. Assembly took a little time but was not difficult.

My toddler enjoys it but cannot reach the pedals yet! he's two and just rides by pushes his feet along side it. . Easy assembly & you have to put the stickers on yourself. . Follow assembly instructions closely or you'll mess it up!
