These arrive just in time for christmas i cannot wait for the kids to open these! we already only one with an additional two we can build much bigger and more stable things on the carpet. These are definitely a must-have if you do have carpet so that you don't have those bumpy issues that come with trying to get the magnets to line up piece by piece now we have a huge 12 x 12" plate to build on. Our family was exposed to picasso tiles for the first time at christmas. The kids had so much fun with them that we decided to buy our own and found these as well. I haven't tried these with any of the girls in the family, but the boys have had a lot of fun with them! they make cars, tow around things they have made, and find all kinds of ways to use this. The best part is that they didn't need a lot of guidance on how to use them and were able to play for a long time building and just having fun. I highly suggest making sure you have at least one per kid because they will all want to use them!

I've purchased quite a few sets of these over the past year. Not because they break, it's quite the opposite. These are very well made, and the boys just love them! they get used a lot, and the creations they make using these cars and their tiles is very impressive. I've purchased several sets because each boy likes to work on their own designs. Although sometimes they add them all together and we end up with a long train. . My grandsons love these cars used in conjunction with their picasso tiles. The tiles and the cars are very sturdy. I was very pleasantly surprised at how hardy they are. We have (inadvertently) stepped on them and the boys play very rough with them. The tiles and cars hold up and still look great. One final thing to mention is that the tiles easily catch and don't have to be turned around for the magnets to hold. They're awesome and worth hours of daily entertainment. A great purchase!

I wanted to purchase the magnatiles branded cars to match what we have but these work just as well and the kids don't know the difference.
Both my kids (4 and 2-years-old) love these. The magnets are strong enough that the pieces have no problem holding together. Sturdy - my son has thrown them across the floor and structures have been demollished repeatedly and the pieces have no cracks and magnets have not shaken loose. Great set to go along with other multi-piece sets to allow endless building possibilities.

We gave this set to our grandson, who's four and a half and loves magna tiles. He loves it and plays with it all the time, incorporating pieces from his set of tiles to make larger vehicles and structures. For such a basic toy, this has been a real hit.

Disappointed. Sent 2 purple. Wanted red and blue. Does not work with magna tile cars. You cannot attach magna tile cars and pull along. The playmags are higher. However, the playmags do work with magna tile squares.
