My daughter absolutely loves the stamp set. She always loves anything with princesses so this was perfect for her for her birthday. She is three years old. :) the only thing i recommend is that you find extra stamp pad.

Love the stamps and colors pencils and that is washable ink. The pink ink is hard to really see on the paper so i will be ordering washable black ink too to add to this set. For the price-great deal and my toddler loves it! she also likes to stack the stamps haha.

Melissa & Doug Decorate-Your-Own Wooden Monster Truck Craft Kit
I bought three of these dyo sets for my kids: the princess carriage, monster truck and plane. I am going to write this review for all 3 of them because they are the same as far as quality and assembly go. I want to offer some tips and solutions for problems that other reviewers have stated. . First, let's be clear that this is a children's craft! it is messy, fun and isn't going to be perfect. Even though you do come out with wooden toy when all is said and done, it is a craft, not a high quality wooden toy. If you want a high quality wooden toy, go buy one that is already made. . Second, i would not advise using the white glue that comes with the kit, instead use elmer's wood glue or similar and apply with a qtip. The white glue will take a long time to set and will not bond as well. . Several reviewers said "the wheels don't turn". I suspect that this is because whoever put the wheels on glued the whole axle into place. If you put a drop of wood glue into the hole on one set of the wheels and then insert the axle dowels, put the axles through the wooden holes on the vehicle and then repeat the wheels on the opposite side and wipe away any excess glue- then the wheels should spin freely after drying. . For this reason, i would not advise that you let a child glue the kit without assistance! . . It is true that the axles are a bit too snug for the wheel holes. It varies per wheel, if you don't want to fight with it you can sand/file down the tips of the dowels but i was able to just lightly tap the wheels on. Try your best to get them straight and they will be fine (more so if you use wood glue). . It is also true that the paint is not washable. Not every craft in a child's life is going to be washable so prepare for a mess with these tips:. 1- leave the children in an old pair of shorts or something you don't care if it gets ruined. I wouldn't advise throwing a smock over good clothes because it can get messy. 2- cover the surfaces in newspaper, a drop cloth or paper towels. 3- keep baby wipes or an old wet washcloth near while your little artist(s) is(are) painting! you can apprehend a lot of mess if you desire by wiping their hands and/or their brush when a bit too much paint builds up. 4- if you need to remove paint from a non-cloth surface (table, floor, skin), the paint will come off with nail polish remover. . I heard a few people mention that the stickers can peel off or not stick well. Remember that this is a craft, and they are just regular stickers. They may peel off. Make sure the paint is completely dry before trying to put them on. . All in all, these are great little crafts for the price and all 3 of my kids (ages 2, 4 & 6) truly enjoyed them.

The quality is great. This would be great for kids who need a weekend or after school product. Product far eceeded my expectations. I always am happy w/ m&d products but this one was particularly impressive. The tiaras are very sturdy and actually stay on the kids heads well. There was more than enough decorations for all four tiaras and we had enough left over to use scraps from the tiaras to make bracelets as well. . I ordered this for a trip to disney world, a little something for our 3 girls to do during some down time. It was very well received by all three girls aged 6, 4. 5 & 4 with all girls being able to do the project themselves with little to no help. . This is adorable. I ordered a bunch for my dd's 6th birthday. The crowns are precut cardboard with velcro attached. The stickers are beautiful and so shiny. There are more adorable cardboard cutouts that can be mounted with included sticky foam, giving it a more layered and cool look. Every 4-6 year old girl loved this craft. -Notice from D. Fun little craft. My 2 year old had a blast but couldn't enjoy the product to it's full extent. I'd say great for 3 and up and don't expect this to be something you keep to pass on for generations. This was in the trash the same night but my daughter had a lot of fun decorating these with grandma and we even got grandpa to model one
- Y. CortneyMy 4 yr old had the best time making these! she, like most girls, likes to imagine herself as a princess. So this was a super win. The package doesn't look like much when it arrives. I was actually a little let down when i first saw it and most likely would have passed right by it in the store. But it comes with a whole bunch of extras that the kids love. It is easy enough for them to figure out by themselves, which is huge to a little kid. And it's involved enough where they aren't done in 5 seconds. Tiaras need to be perfect, ya know? lol. The set up is simple. Just don't expect the crowns to last all that long. It's not a forever thing. It was inexpensive and i thought it would be a nice extra for christmas. She will be so happy to have this again!
My 4 year old loves crafts. These were a huge hit, although she didn't understand the concept of the foam squares and the cardboard appliqués. She would have rather had more stickers. Overall the price for what it is is very reasonable, and she's still running around in her crowns.

- A. RochelleWe love melissa and doug toys! i purchased this for my 5 year old girl. She had no difficulty painting or assembling this carriage together. You do have to make sure the kids don't get paint in the axle holes as the axles wont fit and then won't turn (found this out with my 2 year old melissa and doug train. ) very cute, and sturdy the kids run them along the floor like hot wheels and they have held up for over a month now. I loved this "girl" project alternative to all the boy car kits out there.
