I am one of the fans who was not a big fan of the new re-vamp of monster high, and i still am still having a hard time getting used to the new changes but i absolutely love ari. I have been excited for her since she was revealed last year at toy fair. She is soooo gorgeous in person and is an instant favorite of mine. She's a lot like spectra which makes me worried spectra may not be in the revamp. . Her accessories look red in the pictures but they're actually like a translucent purple. The pictures really don't do her justice. The one complaint i have is no stand. Very annoyed by that but that's a mattel issue not doll issue. -B. April

I like the dress, well the other side of it at least; just wish it showed off the lovely celestial detail on her arms and legs i got her for. . Buuuut. She is kinda cheap. Molded clothes for one. For another no book or stand : not that i needed another brush, but felt a little discount without all the trimmings. Also the accessories are made from a softer material. It's a big deal for me, since she is mainly for display, but might be flimsy for play. I would worry about ripping the shoes apart opening the secret compartment. . But i liked her star design too much to not get her, so don't regret it.

If it weren't for the low price, i don't think i would have snagged her up for my 8 year old daughter, who already has other very similar versions.
