BlueProton DJI Phantom 3 Standard WiFi Signal Range Extender Six 6 Antenna Kit w 10dBi 5.8GHz Omni ARGtek
For starters, anyone saying this made their signal worse. Didn't install it correctly. There are only 3 wires that need to be popped off their connectors, they are held on by small dots of glue. I used a small screwdriver and pulled the glue away from the connectors as i pulled up on the wire and they popped off (don't be afraid to use a little force, if they are on there properly it'll take a tug). 2 of those wires connect to little square antennas which are held on with glue again (you remove these). I just pulled up on the antenna while chipping away at the glue with my screwdriver and they came off. The other wire is connected to the original antenna which you remove. Now here comes the part where you need to focus. Snapping these 3 new wires onto their respective bases. You really have to snap them on or they wont work. (people having range issues after installing this mod probably didn't push down hard enough so these new connectors snapped tightly into place). Once you have them tightly in place. Pull up on them. If they come right off they are not on properly! they should stay on there solidly when you pull up on them. Once you are sure they are on there tightly put a dot of hot glue on the connection to make sure they stay put. After that reassemble the controller and enjoy the range boost this setup will give you. It works, as long as you do it right. Very pleased. When i shop on online store i rely heavily on other peoples reviews to help me make the right choice on what to buy and what not to buy. I depend on other peoples honesty to help me make wise choices when purchasing items here on online store. Com. I try to give as much detail as i can when i can without being long winded. Did increage range a little but not much more than the $12 parabolic i kept it since and purchased a 14dbi 5, 8ghz for the middle and boosted that signal and was then able to get over a mile . Unfortunately , i crashed my drone so i sold this . ( the drone crash had nothing to do with this antennae) also i broke the 10dbi antennae and call blueproton . Just got it today, so we shall see how it holds up. I was getting roughly 500ft distance 300ft altitude in indianapolis. Very high interference where i'm at because of the houses and call towers (3 within 2 blocks of me). After i did this mod i got 2, 238 feet in one direction, 1, 947 in another, and 2, 176 in another. I didn't go east because of a school letting out for the day, better safe than sorry. . Installed this bad boy today. Installation is very easy. Watch the video, do what it says. I recommend getting yourself some good tweezers so you can 'grab' the glue and connectors. This way you pull them straight up and avoid messing up anything inside of your handset. . So in the end, i'm very pleased with the performance boost i've got so far. I can't wait to get it a bit out of the city and see what it can do. Everything you need is in the box (minus the glue gun if you want to add that extra bit on the ends). If you have a phantom 3 standard, stop waiting, get this. You will not be disappointed.
- I. AnonymousI was a bit skeptical whether this product would work or not but based on the advertised product description and function i figured i'd give it a try. Removing the old antennas and installing the new took about 20 minutes, i took my time because i didn't want to damage old hardware encase things didn't work as advertised. . Flight test with the omni antennas and flew out over 2700 feet, i did need to adjust antennas position and height of the drone a few times to get better signal but i was very pleased with the signal strength and video. I could have traveled further but i get concerned about fling out so far and losing my drone. I'll be testing the panel antennas on a warmer clear day. Things to consider when flying, how far a signal can actually travel is dependent solely on the medium it has to travel through. As the wifi (2. 4ghz) signal is at, or around, one of the harmonics of the resonant frequency of the hydrogen atom, anything with a high water content reduces the signal considerably. This is why your satellite signal goes screwy when there's to much cloud and rain. Trees contain a lot of water so they attenuate the signal a considerable amount. You may not think it, but buildings contain a considerable amount of water; not in its liquid form, but present in the concrete and cement and bound there as part of the chemical reaction that hardens it.
Did a test last night, and good news is that yes it does very much help the phantom 3 standards range. With the normal antenna tests with a lot of wifi interference, the bird would have issues when reaching 500m (1640 feet). With the modification, the same test at the same range had no signal issues with the same flight plan. . More tests will be done for longer ranges, but so far this is looking to be a positive result. Note: videos are rather difficult to see the effort it take to put the connectors on. They are a pain to snap in, but have patience. I have included some pictures to help other know the process. Also, did use hot glue to isolate the connectors. . To date, i have reached 6150 feet in distance at a high of 334 feet. . Other note: others have said that, and the key issues has been that the connectors were not fully connected on the controller. Make sure they are fully connected, you will know if you move the wire back and forth (not up and down from circuit board), and they should stay. Also, apply some hot glue around the connection points. Last, move those 2. 4 ghz panel wires to the outer sides of the controller. This should resolve your issue.

A couple of days ago i ordered this multi charger through online store prime. It only had 2 reviews but for $23 shipped i figured i would give it a try. As usual, online store shipped and delivered right on time. . When i opened the box, no surprises. The item looked just like the picture and was actually a bit smaller than i expected. . You use the charger that came with your phantom to attach to this unit, and then can put up to 4 batteries at a time on the charger. The batteries are charged one at a time. So 4 batteries would take about 4 hours. . The nice thing about this charger is you can put up to 4 batteries on it and just forget they are charging instead of doing one at a time with the stock charger. . There is a red/green led next to each battery slot. This tells you when each battery is charging and turns solid green when each battery is done. It then moves on to the next battery. . I have 3 batteries on it right now and its finished with one and is currently charging the second. . To sum up. A nice small convenient and neat package. This is a nice compact way to keep four batteries all in one place and all charged up without having to remember to plug one in after the other is charged. It works just fine with my p3a batteries. I know the seller uses the word parallel and some reviewers have taken it to mean simultaneous charging. Taking words literally from the multitude of chinese vendors now on online store is just being naïve. It also says "charge method: one by one accordingly. " i don't see why you would want to charge two or more at a time and end up having them charge more slowly. You can only use one at a time. I just don't get the indignation.

RhondaThis product works great! there are a few comments that rate this product low because it doesn't charge all batteries at the same time? that would definitely create a fire hazard due to the amount of power needed to charge all at the same time or at minimum make for a really long charge time to get a battery to 100%. This product allows you to fly your unit, then plug all the batteries in and forgot about it. Each battery is charged one by one and there is no need to babysit! well worth it!
Works perfect. Hung my 4 batteries off of it and plugged it in. It cycled through each battery and then started charging them (one at a time). I toyed with the idea of buying the name-brand version at more then 3x the cost. Very glad i went this route as i can't imagine the name-brand version would work any better/different. Device is smaller than i anticipated (which i consider a good thing).

Very pleased with the product, very easy to take on and off the phantom and it does make the drone easier to land due to the wider stance especially on uneven ground.
