My daughter is really into play dough right now so she was super excited when my mom sent her this for christmas. She has been enjoying it. The turquoise piece in the middle works my nerves sometimes because remnants of play dough get stuck in there and of course leaves little crumbs everywhere once it dries up and falls out. I spend a lot of time cleaning out that piece when my daughter is done playing. Play dough on hardwood floors is no fun. -S. Shayna

My 3 and 5 year olds love this stupid thing. They love play-doh so i stuck my tail between my legs and finally gave in to the world of the most horrible toys to clean ever. This one is no exception as it has nooks and crannies for play-doh to get stuck in and harden up in so that the next time you pull it out it makes your life a living hell trying to get the different parts to work together until you manage to pop all the hard pieces out of the way. I can't knock a star for this as i could clearly spend an unreasonable amount of time cleaning it every. Single. Time, but let's be honest: i'm only letting my kids play with play-doh in the first place because i'm busy and need them occupied so i don't have time to deal with that upkeep. Aside from that, this is a painfully simple item. Stick a wad of play-doh in the shoot and push it through whatever special design shape you so desire and "ta-da! " you have a long string of joy. My boys love this thing and have combined countless colors to see what they'd look like coming out. As a result, we now have all of our containers full of greenish-black doh, but boys can find joy in that as well. If you've given into the play-doh nightmare, this is an accessory that you probably should own.

Still a great toy and my kids love it, but it definitely doesn't have the durability of the version i played with 30+ years ago.

- H. HaywardAnything to do with playdoh is a huge hit with my 3 yr old! she happened to see this and really wanted it so i got it as a last minutes christmas gift for her. She loves it! it's easy for her to push down on the large lever to push out the playdoh but we do have to help her slide in the design piece she wants to use which is fine since we supervise her while she's playing with this to avoid messes. She has already logged in quite a few hours with this toy :)

If you are going to break out the play-doh then you are going to need the fun factory. My grandchildren love this! make sure you clean it out well after every use or the hard play-doh in the sliding ridges will cause your fun factory to crack.

Well i had no problem with the product but i didn't look at the size of the containers. These aren't the regular size which makes it kind of a rip off because playdoh individuals are like a dollar. It's play-doh so you know it's amazing. It feels, smells, and tastes (sorry, couldn't resist) the same as it did twenty-five years ago when i played with it. However, i was a little disappointed in the size of the containers. I never remember seeing anything other than a decently sized container as a kid. I knew they came in different sizes as i saw a smaller and a larger but i guess i assumed the smaller size was the size i remembered and the larger size was jumbo. These are just 2 oz containers. So think about the size of a bathroom dixie cup and realize it's smaller than that by an ounce.

Wasn't paying attention and thought i was purchasing the regular size container, not the mini. I give it a 4 because of value. I feel that you don't get much for the cost. You could spend the same on 5-6 regular containers. The play-doh 2-: still super soft and serves the purpose.

My 3 year old niece loves minions and she was happy to get this. The playdough does get a little stuck in the parts, but it provided a good hour of entertainment the day we gave it to her for all 3 kids that were there. My sister in law says she still loves to get it out and play with it, including her older siblings.

I would have given 5 stars but the minion characters are just pieces of plastic with stickers on them, not the best combo for toddlers and clay! the set is a little difficult to clean but if i am getting the play-doh out that is expected. All in all i would buy this set again.

My daughter loved this toy. It brings together minions, play doh and dress up dolls into one very inexpensive package. The only gripe i might have with it is that the chair you push down to make the hair come out is a workout for a kid, it's also kind of hard to get the play doh out from inside the minion once you've pushed it in, we found it worked best to cut all the hair off and then push in at each hair "follicle" to work it down and out.
