Prologue
Excellent quality. Just be careful with modded blasters. . They seem to be slightly stiffer than standard elite nerf darts, and the head seems to be a hair longer, so while they're pretty much indistinguishable from genuine darts at a distance, you can see the differences when looking closer. . In stock blasters and modded spring blasters, they'll work superbly, possibly even better than regular elites. Just be careful using these with modded flywheel blasters, as really fast wheels can occasionally rip the heads off the darts, as i found out using my rapidstrike with worker flywheels. If using these darts, i'd recommend against them in any blaster with serrated flywheels. Otherwise, they're darned good. Raytheon Toys Soft Darts for Nerf N-Strike Elite Series Blasters, 300-Pieces Review (Darts_001)
These darts are way way way better than your average normal elite darts! stiffer foam so there is less jamming. These work well in almost every nerf blaster! now i will go over the pros and cons. . Pros:. Shoots better. Flies farther. Hits harder. Better price than normal elite darts. Rarely jams. Cons:. Hurts a little more. Sometimes if you use a flyweel blaster you need to pull the trigger way harder because of the stiff foam. Caution: always wear eyegear when using these darts. All in all, these darts rock. 10/10 would recommend. -I. Betty

I am extremely pleased with these darts. They are better than the originals. The tip is slightly longer, but as long as you push them all the way into the gun they seem to jam less and fly better than the nerf brand darts. Also love the sound they make as they fly through the air. Very durable, they made it through a 30 kid nerf gun war outdoor birthday party and several nerf battles at home afterwards and still look brand new. I would buy these again without hesitation.

Raytheon Toys Soft Darts Nerf N-strike Elite Series Blasters, 300-pieces (Darts_001)"We opened 3 packages out of 30 so far. The first dart that was shot hit the target and the orange tip came off. The following 29 darts were just fine. I put a dab of glue & it was fixed. I wasn't concerned about the quality of them. I believe they are selling good quality nerf darts at an incredible price point. Honestly, i think they are better than the oe darts you can buy. Yes. My first dart fell apart. Still, i'm a realist. I won't let 1 dart foil the rating knowing that they are awesome darts. Buy the raytheon toys nerf darts with full confidence!"Official Nerf N-Strike Elite Series 18-Dart Quick Reload Clip
This is my favorite upgrade for my modulus recon mk2 and my stryfe. Buy two of these. Tape them together; inverted to each-other. So, when one of them is in your blaster, the other one is taped to the side of it, but upside-down. Then, you can fire 18 rounds. Drop the mag, flip it over, and cram it back in for 18 more rounds. This is what guys in the military do, too. This is especially critical for the stryfe due to its high rate of fire. But i love the quick-change mag by taping them together.
N-strike warriors lose when they run out of darts, so load up on firepower with this 18-dart quick reload clip! the clip works with any n-strike elite blaster (sold separately). Load the clip with the included 18 n-strike elite darts so you're locked and loaded for the next mission! nerf and all related characters are trademarks of hasbro.

The fact that this is on sale for only a few dollars more than the standard stryfe should be reason enough to buy it. If you do not already know about the nerf n-strike elite stryfe, it is a semi-automatic blaster that uses two wheels near the front of the blaster (on the inside, of course. ) to fling darts out. This gives many options to the user as they now have another hand free to do whatever they wish. Dual wield another stryfe? sure. Have another clip at the ready? why not. With this kit you also get an 18 round magazine, perfect for the stryfe as you will find yourself quickly going through darts. Included as well is a barrel extension (which hurts range, though has two attachment points for accessories, as well as a flip up iron sight. ), foregrip, and stock, which is capable of holding a total of 10 extra darts, five on each side. The foregrip is especially helpful with this configuration as without it, there is no clear place to put your other hand. My only complaint is that the range is significantly hurt when rapidly firing the blaster. Because the flywheels need time to rev up before the initial shot and after each consecutive shot, range is poor during this time. Besides that, i am extremely happy with this product and the price deduction well makes up for any cons. Edit: the price was about $20 at the time of review. Sadly, this is no longer the case, and thus i cannot recommend this bundle for the current price. If you are able to find it for much cheaper elsewhere by all means go for it, but at the current price it is not worth it. -Notice from S. Ruff, North Carolina

This clip is great and it comes with 18 darts. I bought this for my son, but i have to admit that it's pretty awesome and i might be having more fun with it than he is. . Update . I'm taking away one star because the spring mechanism has developed a tendency to "stick" . It's happened about three times. It's usually because a dart somewhere toward the bottom of the clip is at a slight angle and the spring lacks the strength to push it up. If you pull the clip out and give it a gentle "whack" to jostle the stuck dart, it resolves the problem.

- N. CassellaI bought this as a present for my 7 year old. He enjoys building kits and shooting things so i thought this modular nerf gun would be perfect. Assembly is easy. And my son can add the shoulder rest as his arms grow. I can see this toy growing with him into his teen years. Heck, i even enjoyed playing worth it. Loading ammo in the clip is easy and the semi automatic feature makes firing much better then the old prime pump method. Ammo does run out quickly worth semi auto s so it is worth getting extra clips. I've heard about jam problems with the semi auto nerf guns but the only one that has given us any problem is this demolisher. If you don't modify the gun and follow proper loading guidelines the gun is flawless. Also remember the longer you wait for the motor to prime, the father your shots will go. I also like this toy because it is a great way to teach gun safety and familiarity.
These straight 18 magazines (for they are in fact magazines) are the most reliable and compact way to store lots of nerf ammo, and online store is the cheapest reliable source for them that i can find. They never give me any problems. I recommend 'em! . . Edit oct. 14 2016: i've used the same 4 nerf magazines for several wars and competitions at this point and abused them thoroughly - let them fall from the blaster onto the ground, etc. I've also tried some other bands' mags which are compatible with nerf. They all seem equally reliable, and some (like the buzz bee and worker mags) can hold more darts, but in terms of value for money and ease of acquisition, these nerf mags still win out. And, since official nerf ammo can be pricey, the fact that these mags include darts is a boon.

The fun factor here is just switching out the accessories with other guns and doing the "how big of a gun can my 8 year old build". I never felt like accuracy/distance is improved with this, but it's a fun set of accessories nonetheless. The fact that it's all interchangeable with other compatible nerf guns makes it awesome!

Nice addition to nerf accessories. Originally bought this to turn a stryfe into an rpk-style machine gun. . The clamps are also tighter than before so there is minimal rattle. . The only downside is that the bipod legs cant rotate forwards. -Notice from N. Hakala, Bury

I couldn't beat this price for the nerve gun that my son specifically asked for. It came in a plain brown cardboard box and the attachments (i added on) were in separate open-faced boxes. It doesn't come with the batteries needed to shoot but i had those on hand. My son was thrilled to say the least. This little thing is very powerful. Side note - if you have a pet that's easily spooked. Prep your child to play with it outside. The noise can be a bit grating and my dog is terrified of it!

- O. RubyI love having nerf bullets all over our house. I love stepping on them in the middle of the night, during the day and especially first thing in the morning. Most importantly (and seriously), i love that my son's expression on christmas morning was that i would win "mommy of the year" award for the rest of his life and i could do no wrong. Fast forward, 2 hours later and i'm trying to get him to eat veggies and now i'm the worst mommy ever. Such is life. Fun toy, i especially love shooting nerf bullets/grenades/rockets at my kids (and sometimes husband) when they don't do what i ask them to do the first time i ask them to do it (parent's you know what i'm talking about).
From a nerf fan this is a cool set. I really do enjoy it. I don't own the modulus blaster so i am currently using the parts for my long-strike-cs6 and even though i got mine used the parts are still in good condition. They snap into place perfectly, and don't wobble has much as my other attachments.

Nerf N-Strike Elite HyperFire Blaster
A walmart exclusive first released at $50 (consider checking if it is still in stock on their website), competitor to the nerf rapidstrike, which most nerfers will undoubtedly compare this to. Nerf/hasbro's famed rapidstrike would comparably be the closest fully-automatic cs (clip system blaster) to the hyperfire with the exception of the rhinofire. Being a cs blaster, the hyperfire is compatible to other nerf magazine or drum-fed blasters, like the 25 dart drum that comes with this blaster. This drum upon inspection is actually different-looking and seems to work better than the older 25 dart drums that came with other elite nerf blasters. The hyperfire has cool design cues reminiscent of some fantasy video games and real life firearms. Most kids should find this easy to hold because the thumb hole handle grip is on the small side, but adults with larger hands may find this awkward and uncomfortable. The acceleration trigger is conveniently placed in fairly close proximity behind the magazine release trigger, a plus or a con, depending how the user manages the blaster (he or she may accidentally eject his or her magazine or drum). The blaster is sort of heavy but somewhat balanced due to the 4 d batteries (not included) being located in the back of the blaster within the shoulder stock, which has a nice cheek-rest. Looking at the only tactical rail on the blaster, it is apparent that the attachment point is small and almost guarantees that you will need to take off whatever attachment you put on in order to fix a jam because it is so close to the jam door. If it is of any concern, there are several sling mounts on this blaster. The hyperfire is compatible with any standard-sized elite nerf darts (blue, green, white, orange, and decorated rebelle darts). The hyperfire boasts the highest dart-per-second (dps) rating of 5. That means for every second at peak rev, you shot 5 darts. That also means that you have pretty much emptied the entire 25-dart drum by the time it takes the average person to finish reading to the end of this sentence. I have tested this blaster, and yes, it fits drac's (a prominent nerf blaster guru) description of it being a "dart-hose. " but how does it a hive this? my examination of the dart-feeding mechanism yields that there is a conveyor belt under the jam door. Well technically, it is in the jam access door. This suggests that as the belt turns, short tabs on the belt snag the darts and push them towards the flywheels. Upon contact with the spinning flywheels the dart is propelled, which bobololo (another nerf blaster guru) has indicated that the hyperfire makes use of canted (angled) flywheels, which uses slightly off-angled flywheels to put a spin on the darts. This spin is perfect for the stock setup, but for modders who want to use higher-voltage/amperage batteries, it may be a challenge. There are several reasons why modding this blaster will not be easy, but i will keep it simple with 3 of the more prominent reasons: 1. ) the conveyor belt design feeding mechanism is ineffective at a higher speed rpm (rotations per minute) than what it was designed to operate at and may also need extensions on it's tiny arms or "nubs" that only scrape the top of the base of the darts. Also, it will eventually need to be replaced (it is made of mortal rubber after all, and time will inevitably cause it to become brittle and break) and the availability of replacement parts will be doubtful unless there is an aftermarket company willing to make them. 2. ) the canted flywheel spin the dart and the elite nerf dart design tends to spin out of control at higher rpm, interrupting the stability of flight, resulting in inaccurate and shorter distances. 3. ) the internals have surprisingly little to no space to do anything in the more important areas (like around the acceleration/ rev trigger) despite being a bulky blaster with lots of space in unimportant places (like the lower front grip). Finally, like coop (yet another nerf blaster guru), i have a prochrono digital chronograph which i use to measure the speed of the darts fired from the hyperfire, traveling at an average of 72 feet per second (fps) at peak of rev, stock. The fps of each dart at maximum dps would naturally be weaker, that is, in the mid-60 fps range if you hold down the triggers and let the foam fly. Now, with 3 imrs or lipo or li-ion batteries, and 4 aa to d adapters and a dummy spacer slot, i found that the average fps jumped to 96 fps and what could have been 8 dps (not officially sure but for that second it was a blur and there were 8 darts on the ground) at peak rev without any other modifications. All 3 of the aforementioned nerf gurus have warned of potential jamming issues with the use of old or misshapen darts because of the short nubs on the conveyor-belt feeding mechanism missing the scrawny or thinner dart as a natural result of being stepped on or overused. From my personal experience, i did not have to open the jam door to clear a jam while using several different aftermarket darts of varying conditions, but the hyperfire did stumble a few times during the chronograph testing (i had to bump it a bit with my hand for it to work after nothing was coming out). As an update, i removed the two thermistors (thermal resistors; for you beginner modders, they look like micro yellow m&m's on the circuit board and are considered electronic locks that seize up at a certain temperature, and they also restrict current). While i did not find much more improvement than before the thermistor removal, i did notice that it jammed less frequently. In conclusion, i think the hyperfire lives up to it's hype, and is a great candidate for walmart's best exclusive blaster to date. Time and durability will be the ultimate judge of this though, and i will continue to update this review if i encounter any problems that i feel may change my generous 5-star rating. If you are wondering why my 25-dart drum's face is white, it is because i painted it to look different and not because it is a different model.

What a fun blaster to add to my collection! i tell myself i collect them so i can have fun when the nieces and nephews come over, but we all know it's for me (i'm 31. Lol). I look forward to modding this blaster with some li-po cells and a rewire to reduce the motor lag. Don't get me wrong, it's still a pretty fast nerf blaster, but there's some significant torque slowing in the motors after the first few shots.

- M. LawrenceMy son loves it! he had a blast using it at his friend's birthday party. Will definitely buy again, if needed.
This is truly the best of the motorized nerf guns. It has the highest capacity currently offered, a fast rate of fire and rarely jams. . I only wish it had a higher capacity or the drum magazines were sold separately. You can unload 25 rounds in a few seconds.

Nerf Modulus Flip Clip Upgrade Kit
This clip worked in all of our nerf guns! so stoked to chase my kids around and shoot them. Then shoot them again without having to chase down the bullets. Of course when empty its nice to have kids who pick them up for you. Id purchase the extra nerf bullets too! . . (ps all in fun of course. I only chase them with my nerf gun and shoot them with my nerf bullets! )
Maybe you ve already got the nerf modulus blaster (sold separately). But do you have what it takes to dominate the battlefield with it? upgrade your blaster with the flip clip upgrade kit! the modulus blaster fires up to darts without reloading, but with this kit you can deploy a 24-dart barrage at your target. The kit includes a 24-dart flip clip and 24 darts to load it with. Serious nerf warriors can t afford to run out of ammo, so upgrade stat with the flip clip upgrade kit! nerf and all related terms are trademarks of hasbro.

My kids love these. The magazines are sturdy and function flawlessly. The clips holding them together are a little flimsy, but i didn't expect steel for the price. Even without the clip to join them, these magazines are worth the investment. My boys now have the ability to reload multiple times without stopping to pick up the used darts. They really love that when their cousins come over the have nerf combat. The product arrived on time and in great condition. I would definitely order from the seller again. -Notice from U. Great product for the price, i got these to fill out my arsenal for intra-office combat at our small company and they've helped me keep the edge in what has become a heated arms race. I played with nerf as a kid and this new clip system is great. When you do it right these will almost never jam, and the convenience of having two clips you can change between so quickly is great. . People saying the clips can be hard to separate are right, but who needs to separate them? just buy regular clips if that's what you want. My only beef with these is that sometimes when they are fully loaded the spring is pressing hard enough upward to just pop a dart or two out of the clip, but this isn't a major issue. Overall, i would highly recommend these for unloading large quantities of darts into your unsuspecting co-workers.

- N. JudithAt first i thought this was lame because there were 18-dart magazines that could simply be duct-taped together. That was not necessary the case. Taping together 18-dart mags have not always been easy for me: if too tight, the darts get stuck and jam in the blaster. If it is too loose, it wobbles about. It is bulky and cumbersome to carry these large mags as it is, and especially so for the younger kids to manage at my family nerf wars. Also, it's costly to get a bunch of these. As an added bonus, this modulus dual flip-"clip" set comes with 24 darts and two 12-dart magazines that are held together by a solid mid-piece of plastic by holes to fit into nubs on the sides of the magazines. This piece keeps the magazines somewhat secure and it is sort of difficult to take apart willingly. Of course, there are moments where it does pop off and it will take some acquisition to put back together. This i have rectified, ironically, with some duct tape (check out the last 2 pics).
This was a very good purchase in my opinion and i would definitely buy this product again (and i might! ). It comes with everything shown in the first picture - two 12 round magazines, an attachment piece, and 24 modulus elite darts. These darts are the same as elite darts, but with the different colors like the darts that come with nerf modulus blasters. They can be used in any nerf gun that uses a magazine system, and so do the magazines. . The idea for the flip clip is good, and better than the previous tries to do something like this. However, sometimes one or two nerf darts will pop out the upside down clip, and it can be hard to fill the clips with darts. It does decrease reload time, but not if you have another clip on hand, like in your pocket for example. Also, sometimes the clip can get in the way as it is fairly long, and the clip not being used creates bulk on the left side of the blaster, which makes it hard for right-handed people to stabilize the gun by holding it with your other hand (farther down the barrel). . So i just removed the grey attachment piece and now use the clips separately. This is fairly easy to do, by finding the place on one clip where one of the bumps is attached to the attachment piece. You can pull the attachment piece off here and then free the magazine. Repeat with other magazine. . Using them like this works well because the clips don't hang down to far, don't get in the way, and don't add to much weight to your blaster. . In my opinion, this is still a great way to get extra darts and some good capacity clips, and just comes with an extra option to attach the clips, if you want to. Overall, i am very satisfied with this. *but make sure to get "standard packaging"! this is how it would come in a store. "frustration-free is just a brown cardboard box. *. . Let me know if this was helpful!

Nerf N-Strike Modulus ECS-10 Blaster
First thing everyone says about the modulus is that it is a stryfe. It is similar to one but has key differences, many of which are good. The main bad difference is that it is more expensive, but now i think it is worth it's price tag in overall value over the stryfe (nothing is better in value, really, but stryfes' need to be modded to be good anyway, so the hassle makes that debatable). Some smaller things that comes to mind is the size, as the modulus is larger and has a carrying handle on the upper back of the blaster that makes it's flip-up iron sight useless. The battery door doubles as a handle grip under the blaster, which i thought was cool. It comes with a lot more attachments, which is the key selling point for this toy: the barrel allows for another barrel to be attached and, by itself, does not affect ranges by as much as the retaliator/recon barrel; the scope is lense-less but has a cool targeting sight; the foregrip is comfortable; the stock is useful in carrying an extra magazine but is noticeably flimsy and wobbly with enough pressure on the plastic bars; and there is a demolisher-style 10-dart banana magazine included with the set. Velocity ratings on my prochrono digital chronograph are as follows: the average stock velocity is 72 feet per second (fps); unmodified but with 3 tenergy lifepo4 batteries and a dummy spacer averaged 91 fps. The best difference between the stryfe and the modulus is that testing of the lifepo4 batteries in a nerf war suggests the thermistor/ resistors of the modulus are more tolerant and do not necessarily need to be removed since no-one complained of it overheating during play (like they did with the stryfe many times before thermistor/resistor and electronic lock removals). However, there is a noticeable spool-up lag when first pressing the rev-trigger and this 1-second delay is something you will have to live with if you decide to use the recommended alkaline batteries. Further good differences the modulus has over the stryfe include the fact that it is paint-friendly and the different modulus' parts come apart easily when the blaster is opened. Check out my pictures below, i hydro-dipped and hand-painted different parts of mine (one gold and black, another a hydrographic with carbon fiber and flames, and a more recent one i mask-painted a classic cobra, python patrol snakeskin pattern). In all honestly, get both the stryfe and the modulus kits (there are many different ones now, including the bolt-action slam-fire able tristrike) that suit your fancy. The accessory parts are all interchangeable with most other nerf blasters, namely the stryfe, retaliator, tristrike, even the ionfire (it's all true, but i'm joking about the ionfire; don't do that). As an update, i have been using my setup for almost a year now. Still going strong with the 3 aa 3. 2v lifepo4 batteries and an aa sized (ultracell; a conduit placeholder) spacer. I have also used 2 lion 3. 7v and 2 spacers, and a 3. 7v imr with 2 spacers and both work, but i decided that it is best to use the 2 aa-sized imrs, because there is less strain on the batteries and they will last longer; so i will be using those imrs in the future. I use a nitecore digicharger d4 battery charger, it works great and i recommend it. Please mod responsibly, as using higher voltage batteries can be damaging to, and shorten the life of the product.
Get a whole arsenal in one blaster with the motorized modulus ecs-10 blaster! this incredibly flexible blaster has a targeting scope, drop grip and dual-rail barrel, and its many removable parts let you customize your blaster in more than 30 combinations. Load up the blaster s 10-dart banana clip with the included darts and hit the battlefield in whatever configuration will make you the victor! nerf and all related terms are trademarks of hasbro.

This gun is excellent. The stock does not wobble or come out and you can look into the scope without straining. You can shoot a full magazine and not jam. (it hasn't jammed yet). Although the ammunition magazine is huge i believe the n strike modulus is a great nerf gun you should buy. -Notice from E. Nancy, Australian Capital Territory

Not going to beat around the bush here. I have a savannah cat and sometimes when we are watching tv he likes to jump on top of the tv so our attention would be on him. The tv is hanging 7ft up by the way. Well, after countless failed attempts to try to discipline him and teach him not to jump on the tv we decided enough is enough. So i bought a nerf gun with extended clip and laser scope. And oh man did this baby do the trick i had to shoot him a a couple times with it but once he learned the winding up sound this gun makes he now runs away before i even have to pull the trigger. Well that lasted for about two weeks. He now finds the gun as more of a toy and tries to catch the darts being fired his direction. But at least it still keeps him off the tv

- U. KristenIts hasbro's strife reshelling / rebranding for 2015. Good base blaster, with plenty of attachment parts (all aesthetic). Very gimmicky but when you have a strong base component ie the core blaster, then it makes a little more sense to not tinker with the base, and just add to it. Plus, color/size compatible addon parts have been a community request for a long time
Ordered this one for my (9) year old. I don't know if he ever opened up a package so quickly. Played with is all weekend and didn't notice any issue with darts jamming. Only issue is trying to recover all of the bullets. Lol. It's motorized so the downfall is that you do need to keep getting batteries.
