Star Wars: Rebellion Board Game (SW03) 328

Review for star wars rebellion board game

Price was $75.98. Awesome game. Well balanced yet asymmetrical. Gorgeous components. Relatively steep learning curve but all the rules work well once you've had a bit of practice. The universe seeps into every detail of the game: you feel like you are a part of an alternative star wars story. The grand scale allows you to fill in your own details of the story your game is telling. An absolute blast. Not for the faint of heart however: it's a very long game. But worth it!

Probably the best star wars board game out there. Best played with 2 players, but it can be played with 4 though. In a 4-player game, the players are in 2 teams and split responsibilities. . Includes tons of miniatures. I recommend getting a storage case for all of them. I bought the "plano 1354 4-by rack system 3500 size tackle box" for $16 on online store. It fits all of the miniatures, cards, dice, and pieces pretty well. The only things that wouldn't fit in it were the game board and rule books. . The first few games will take a really long time to play while players get used to the rules, which seem complicated at first, but weren't really that bad once we go them down. Our first game took 5 hours. Once learning the rules by heart, i can see this game getting down to maybe 2 hours. . Pros:. - a lot of fun, especially for players of the original pc game of the same name or just star wars fans in general. - tons of plastic miniatures with decent weight to them for being plastic. - easy introductory game rules with guided setup to ease new players into the game. - advanced rules for people who are familiar with the basic rules and want more options. - the board is huge! 44" x 22" once laid out, then you need space around it for parts not put on the board. . Cons:. - some of the miniatures (a few out of over 100) were slightly misshapen. - some of the various decks are on mini cards. I'd prefer them on regular sized cards like the others. - takes at least two hours to play once you know the rules well. - setting up a game can take up to 10-15 minutes. Star Wars: Rebellion Board Game Review (SW03)

If you're really into organizing board game pieces and get a kick out of punching out hundreds of cardboard tokens, you will adore this game the second you open it. Luckily, we are exactly those people and it was like a present within a present. My fiancé spent christmas morning carefully categorizing and setting up all of the pieces in this game. We haven't even had a chance to play it yet, but it sure is beautiful, and it's one of the highest ranked board games on a certain board game review site, so we are really excited to get it set up. My first impressions are that extreme attention to detail went into this game, and i'm really excited about the asymmetric gameplay of empire v. Rebellion, and that you can play it many different ways depending on how many people you have. On the downside, it made my fiancé get really interested in starting miniature painting because the little death stars in this game are so cool, and now i might lose him to a new engrossing hobby. If you like star wars and are into really intricate detail in your games, this will hit all of the right notes for you. -E. Anonymous

Very theme board game for 2. Dont play as 3 or 4! the combat fase should be cleaner. Long game but a good one. I changed some rules and it worked better. 1 ships damage only gets away if there is a construction fase. 2 always test for missions , even if there arent opposition leaders (test against bad luck). 3 start-up with all the non-recruting action cards. 4 in the recruting fase take two leaders (not just one). I took 4 cards and choosed two but you can do it randomly

Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle A Cooperative Deck Building Game

The game is a musthave for potter-heads and boardgame fans alike, which comboed pretty nicely with my group of friends and have cumulated in hours of gaming already (got the game a week ago). Each year brings something new to the table and increases the difficulty either through new villain cards, dark event cards, or just general stuff like adding more villains to the table. We have completed games 1-5 and have to agree that games 1-3 is the easiest, with game 4 and 5 being much harder than the preceding games. . Our only complaint is that the hogwarts cards (the cards on your hand) seem to be made from the same quality of cheap playing cards and thus might not last long unless you put them in sleeves, but the box comes with ample space so sleeving them is no problem with storage

A cooperative deck-building game that is progressive, allowing rich game play experiences to unfold with varying levels of difficulty. Ages 11+ players 2-4.

Excellent game even for beginners to the deck-building genre. . One of my favorite things about this game, especially as a hp fan, is that it contains 7 separate decks for each of the books/years. This grants excellent replay-ability at various difficulties and lets you feel in some way like you are progressing through the books again yourself. It has excellent-quality materials for all of the pieces - so you know it wont wear out quickly. . This has become one of my favorite games to play with my family and friends, and it's really accessible even for non-hp fans. A cool thing is that by being a deck-building game it also allows you to play your own style; one game i was building more offensively and trying to take out as many villans as i could, and the next i ended up playing more of a support character, granting allies attacks and extra money and healing others - and i did it with the same character, which means roles aren't imposed if you want to be a non-combative harry. The balance is quite good too, and there is a very satisfying jump in difficulty once you pass the "tutorial years" (book 1/2). . I've only successfully finished year 3 so far after 1 day, so i'll update my review later once i complete all the decks :), but honestly a must buy if you are a hp fan, and a great game even if you don't know anything about the hp universe. -Notice from L. Rhonda, Michigan

Bought this for my fiancee, as she's a huge harry potter fan, but not nearly as much into board games as i am, and i thought the co-operative, increasing difficulty might be a good hook for her. . I was right. The game slowly eases into its rhythm, with seven different modules, each of which introduces new villains and attacks, as well as new spells with which to fend them off. There are new mechanics, too, with each of the four main heroes (ron, harry, hermoine, neville) "growing up" and getting personalized abilities in game three, and then learning proficiencies from their o. W. L. Exams as of game six. Voldemort starts showing up as a rival around game five, and the number of villains and dark arts to contend with at once keeps increasing. . Throughout all of this, the production design is outstanding, from the way the instruction booklet has slots to accommodate the "new" rules for each new "year" (game), to the actual tokens, from the ones that mark petrified foes and the weighty iron baubles that show how much of a locale enemies control. Movie fans will also appreciate that the familiar likenesses of these characters have been used for the art. . The one issue i have with all of this, and where i have to dock a point, is with regards to the balancing of the game. It's meant for two to four players, but doesn't really scale: some of the cards and proficiencies that have effects applying to all characters seem underwhelming in a two-player game, and some of the enemy attacks are too powerful in a four-player game, in which you may constantly get stunned before getting a chance to take a turn. Randomness is a point of games like these, but certain enemy combinations are particularly frustrating (say, dealing with lucius's ability to heal each time a location is attacked along with pettigrew's odds of hitting a location). Moreover, with only six cards visible at once, all of which may be maddeningly out or your price range, you simply might not be able to ever mount a plausible defense. The game is largely nail-biting when it works, which is good, but you might need to add a few mulligan-like house rules of your own to keep things playable, especially with younger children. . All in all, though, there's at least twenty hours of replay value in this box, and kudos to the developers for making it so easy to pack back up, with individual slots for the dice and dividers for each of the different types of cards. And while the deck building might be a bit frustrating (there's no way to get rid of outdated cards so as to streamline your deck for the endgame), and the meta-game might be a little cheap (leave the least harmful enemies in play all the way to the end), it's a great primer for newcomers, and a terrific opportunity for experts to share their passions in an enjoyable harry potter environment.

- U. Colleen*important notice for people purchasing the early first runs of this game. There was a printing error which lead to 4 copies of a card called confundus being put into the box (2 in box 5 and 2 in box 6 i think). The two confundus! cards in box 5 were supposed to be two copies of stupefy! which are missing from some peoples game, including my own. You can contact usaopoly customer service to get replacement cards:. . Usaopoly. Com/game-care-customer-service-inquiry. . This is a highly entertaining game that was well worth the purchase and should be enjoyed for some time to come. I've played with just two and multiple games in groups of four and it's entertaining with both. . As a quick summary - i enjoy deck builders and this is a solid addition to our collection. If you like deck builders, particularly co-operative ones like legendary encounters: aliens, and enjoy harry potter this seems like an inevitable purchase. It also works as an easy way to introduce people to deck building mechanics which should work nicely for families, just be wary of small spoilers for children that haven't read through the books yet. . For a more detailed breakdown of my thoughts so far:. . -the game evolves as you play through the chapters/games. The game has a built in tutorial for the first few games where it introduces you to the general mechanics of deck builders and the basics of this particular game. As you progress through each chapter you essentially continue to add more villains, more purchasable cards and more dark arts events. If you're familiar with deck builders or are a savvy bunch you could easily start on game 4 or 5. The cards are all marked for which game they belong to so that if, at any point, you want to reset the game back you can easily do so. Game 7 represents the ultimate full form of the game with the full complement of villains, dark arts events cards and the couple other unique features introduced throughout the entire series including game 7. . -the game will get longer as you progress through chapters. You continue to add in villains with each chapter meaning the number of villains that you need to defeat is also increased. People have suggested on board game geek that it plateaus out at about 1. 5-1. 75 hours with the very first game maybe being half an hour. . -it both does and does not follow the events of the books and movies. As you progress through chapters it will introduce villains and dark arts events from the harry potter series. However the game doesn't really try to tell a story and most of the villains don't come up in order. As a result it doesn't really give away major pieces of the plot. Regardless if you have a child that is reading through the books currently the best suggestion would be to only play through the games that they have read up to (game 1 matching roughly to book 1) mainly so they can relate to the villains and events that occur. If you want to play beyond that point you can also look through the cards and maybe just remove those cards that you think might give too much away. . -the game tends to be a bit harder with 4 people than with 2. Some of the events and villains affect all characters simultaneously which makes the game slightly harder for a full group. I think overall it balances well for two players still since you also have less hero powers to make use of. It may not be the most difficult co-operative game out there, but make no mistake, the game can kick your butt pretty well depending on the villain order. You need to carefully balance damage output, heals and removing villain influence. . -there is no player elimination. I don't like player elimination, especially for semi-long games. This game handles that aspect nicely, there are still health pools to track for the characters but when you hit zero you aren't eliminated. Instead you discard some cards for that turn and it helps the villains, but you are not eliminated. You bounce back to full health for the next turn. If everyone keeps getting stunned every other turn, however, you will lose. So you still need to be careful. . -production quality is quite good. The pieces are all well done. The theme flows through all the cards and pieces. Overall the game mechanics, theme and cards just simply work. Very nice box and board. It feels like the designers are true fan of the series. . -several groups of friends already want to play this game just from seeing a picture posted online. It has that excitement factor just looking at the game, which i think is a huge plus. . -setup and game play is quick. You can set up a game in under 10 minutes and get going. Turns tend to be straightforward and are quick to resolve. . The game is easy to teach. The rules are easy to understand and everything is basically explained on the cards themselves. This helps immensely with teaching the game and being able to just play rather than making sure you have all the rules just right before each turn. This is a fantastic gateway game since you can modify the difficulty level while still introducing some major designer game concepts (like deck building) to a group. The co-operative nature of the game means you can actually help other players without ruining the game. . So should you buy it? . . If you already own a ton of designer board games (think like 20+ especially deck builders or maybe cooperative games). You may not get a ton out of this particular game unless you want/need the harry potter theme or if the game mechanics are drastically different from anything you already own. I think this game does what it does well, but nothing is especially groundbreaking. For these people that already own a lot of games i'd suggest waiting to see online plays or for reviews to come out from your favorite reviewers before purchasing. Rahdo has a nice run through of this game and dice tower has also covered it just to name a couple. . For those that have more limited designer game collections. Are you looking to try out (or think you might like) cooperative board games? are you looking for a good introduction to deck building games? do you love the harry potter universe or have family members that do? if you answer yes to all of these it's an obvious purchase. If you answer yes to even one it's also probably a great purchase. . I bought it because i love cooperative games and there are limited cooperative deckbuilders. For me and my relatively small collection of games it ranks right up there along with my other cooperatives like pandemic and ghost stories in terms of fun. It probably doesn't have the huge replay value of a game like pandemic, but it also doesn't need to. I'm exceedingly happy with my purchase and the significant other is too, and that's all i really care about.

Update. Online store sent a replacement and this game had all the cards. Had fun playing the first game. Very well made. Just make sure all the cards and pieces are in the game first. . The game was a christmas present. We were very excited to play except after reading the instructions several times and watching "how to play" on youtube we finally realized cards were missing in the "game 1" card deck. It had only 1 of 2 location cards and no hero cards in the game 1 deck of cards. We have not played the game so we can't say if it's worth the big expense but it is very complicated to learn how to play and impossible to play if cards are missing. Online store is shipping a replacement so we will cross our fingers and hope all the cards for the 7 decks arrive this time. For a game this expensive all the items for the game should be included.

Blood Rage

In blood rage, each player controls their own viking clanÍs warriors, leader, and ship. Ragnar k has come, and itÍs the end of the world! itÍs the vikingsÍ last chance to go down in a blaze of glory and secure their place in valhalla at odinÍs side! for a viking there are many pathways to glory. You can invade and pillage the land for its rewards, crush your opponents in epic battles, fulfill quests, increase your clan's stats, or even die gloriously either in battle or from ragnar k, the ultimate inescapable doom. Most player strategies are guided by the cards drafted at the beginning of each of the three game rounds (or ages). These ñgodsÍ giftsî grant you numerous boons for your clan including: increased viking strength and devious battle strategies, upgrades to your clan, or even the aid of legendary creatures from norse mythology. They may also include various quests, from dominating specific provinces, to having lots of your vikings sent to valhalla. Most of these cards are aligned with one of the norse gods, hinting at the kind of strategy they support. For example, thor gives more glory for victory in battle, heimdall grants you foresight and surprises, tyr strengthens you in battle, while the trickster loki actually rewards you for losing battles, or punishes the winner. Players must choose their strategies carefully during the draft phase, but also be ready to adapt and react to their opponentsÍ strategies as the action phase unfolds. Battles are decided not only by the strength of the figures involved, but also by cards played in secret. By observing your opponentÍs actions and allegiances to specific gods, you may predict what card they are likely to play, and plan accordingly. Winning battles is not always the best course of action, as the right card can get you even more rewards by being crushed. The only losing strategy in blood rage is to shy away from battle and a glorious death!

The F.A.Q. for Star Wars: Rebellion Board Game (SW03)

This game is awesome. Love the gameplay, love the game pieces they did a great job. But it is definitely skewed towards the empire heavily. I've played four times now and all as the rebels and have not one yet. Lol

A number of questions have been asked here.

(0) Question: How long does the typical game last?

(1) Question: As far as a two-player game is concerned, can this be played between two people without any handicaps or certain revisions?

(2) Question: Is the only objective in this game to find the rebel base?

(3) Question: What is the country of manufacture?

(4) Question: Does this game pack up well without buying the foam storage inserts?

(5) Question: Had anyone had trouble with the miniatures not fitting together properly (death stars & star destroyers)? most of mine won't fit together. :(

(6) Question: Is this really complicated and difficult to learn? would someone with a short attention span have a hard time getting in to the game?

(7) Question: How big are the at ats

(8) Question: What are the board dimensions?

(9) Question: How many at-ats does it come with?

(note) Question: where/how to get Fantasy Flight Games (manufacturer's brand) accessories & similiar Fantasy Flight Games's products

Star wars: rebellion, from fantasy flight games, is a two-to-four-player tabletop game that pits the evil galactic empire against the heroes of the rebel alliance. The game is based on the original star wars trilogy and contains two game boards that fit together, a mountain of cards, and many, many, minis. . The game is asymmetrical. The empire wins if it can successfully locate and destroy the hidden rebel base. The rebels win if they can score enough objective points to gain popular support throughout the galaxy, (if the round marker and the objective marker, which start out on opposite sides of the track, come together). At the beginning of the game each player has several systems that are loyal to them, and the rebel player will choose a system to be the location of the secret rebel base. . Both sides start with four leaders, iconic characters from the star wars movies. Beginning with the rebel player, both sides begin to assign their leaders to missions- cards that allow the characters to do fun and interesting things. For instance, the imperial player may attempt to capture a rebel leader, attempt to narrow down which worlds the rebel base is on, or build projects like the death star or a super star destroyer from a special mission deck, and more. The rebels missions include attempts to bring neutral systems over to the rebel cause with diplomacy, sabotage of imperial production, foment uprisings, and more. . Players will not want to assign all of their leaders to missions, however. Leaders can also be used to oppose the other player's missions (both the leader assigned to the mission and the leader opposing it have to have skill icons that match the mission profile). Also, leaders with tactic ratings can command fleets, moving ships and units from one system to an adjacent system. When ships from one faction occupy the same space as their opponents', combat ensues. Both mission oppositions and combat are resolved with special dice rolls on custom dice. Tactic cards, based on leaders' tactic numbers, are also used in combat. . After the command phase, in which missions and combat occur, players take care of housekeeping where they may also recruit new leaders from their action decks, and they may also place new units on a production track (the systems they control that allow them to build units specify what units and where they are placed on the track). Units then move down on the track and are deployed to the game board. This phase also sees the imperial player draw two cards from the probe deck, telling him/her two systems where the rebel base is not every round. The rebel player will draw an objective card which gives him/her more ways to score victory points. . Star wars: rebellion is a grand strategic game set in the star wars universe. I've wanted to see a star wars board game on the axis & allies model for years, and fantasy flight games has finally given it to us. While i don't like this game as much as fantasy flight's twilight imperium, 3rd edition, which is my favorite game of all time, it comes close. They are, of course, very different games other than the sci-fi theme. Tom vasel at the dice tower had said that he hoped that twilight imperium 4th edition would be based on star wars- i think this game is as close as we'll get to that idea. . I really like the asymmetrical play in star wars: rebellion. Both players are playing a very different game. For the imperial player, the game is one of cat and mouse, almost like a hidden movement game on par with fury of dracula or letters from whitechapel. For the rebel player, its a game of hitting a much larger and stronger opponent with a series of pinpricks, knowing that over time they will add up. It's a game of bluff and double bluff, as the imperial player tries to guess at where the rebels are, and the rebel player has no idea what systems have already been ruled out with his/her opponent's access to the probe deck. . There is also an interesting worker placement element here, as you must match your leaders with specific icons to go on missions, but must also hold some in reserve, not knowing what missions they will be able to oppose with their icons. It also means that timing is crucial. Sending a rebel leader out on a raid while darth vader is still in reserve is a bad idea- sending an imperial leader out on a diplomatic mission while mon mothma has not yet been played can really cost you as well. . The game, however, is not simply about its mechanics- solid as they are. Rather, this game is dripping with theme- and that's why you love it. The death star might be destroyed at kessel. Princess leia might be frozen in carbonite. Lando calrissian might train with yoda to become a jedi. Boba fett might capture chewbacca at mon calimari. The combinations of your own thematic star wars adventure are endless. . Star wars: rebellion is a solid game from a mechanics stand point. But it is a tremendously fun game because of its theme. The four player mode, in which players split the duties of admirals and generals is fun as well, but at its heart this is a two player game. If you like star wars tabletop games, you will love star wars rebellion. . Review copy provided.

Fantasy flight has really been hitting home runs with their line of star wars games. I own x wing miniatures which i love. I didn't end up pulling the trigger on imperial assault or armada. As much as i love these games at times the bigger more epic games are harder to get to the table with my gaming group, since most of my friends enjoy lighter more casual games, so this is what i usually buy. This all went out the window when i saw star wars rebellion! it just looked so huge and so epic and i needed to have it! i was really hoping that it lived up to the hype and my expectations. And. Well. It did! . . The pieces and game board are beautiful, totally living up to ffg standards. I'm not one who paints miniatures, and quite honestly i don't think these miniatures need despite not being pre-painted. The board itself is broken up into two boards that go together. Each of these are roughly the size of a normal board game board, so it's huge! and the detail on the board and the different planets, then detail, on the cards, the dice are quality. I really can't say enough about the components of this game. . The game play itself is also amazing. Looking at the rule book it seems daunting like the game is going to be super complicated, but it's not! there are a lot of nuances which take a few plays and checking to rules reference book to make sure your getting everything right. But all in all for the scope of this game, very easy to learn and teach. The only thing i was worried about was the balance of the game. My friend and i played 3 times in the first week i got the game swapping dark side and light side each game play. The first 3 games the imperials won every time. This may have just been a fluke or us just getting use to the game, because the last game play i won as the rebels quite decisively. We have yet to try the team version of the game so i cannot speak as to whether it is fun or not, but i'm sure it's fine, this game really is designed for 2 though. . In conclusion if your a star wars fan and like games in any way, get this game. If your not a star wars fan but love epic sci-fi games, get this game. If your looking for a great 2 player game, get this game. The only ones who shouldn't get this game are people who don't like longer games and don't care for star wars. But if this seems even remotely appealing to you, try it out. Wait scratch that. Buy or buy not, there is no try.

One of the best board games i've ever played. The only thing bad i can say is, all of my star destroyers were a little damaged from bad molding. Been waiting almost a week from fantasy flight to get a response about replacing them.

Love it! somewhat complicated but a fun game. No issues with damage or shipping.

Unboxing: star wars rebellion comes in a good side box and it is heavy. This is because it is packed full of miniatures, card, tokens, two large game boards (that are placed next to each other to make one large one. ) everything is very good quality as one might expect after fantasy flight game s other star wars games. . The miniature are small, made to fit a number of them on sections of the board. These aren t like the x-wing miniatures or imperial assault but are more risk like. The death stars and the super star destroyers are a good size though. . The characters come in the form of standees punched out from the same thick sheet as the tokens. There are both empire and rebel characters that will keep maybe star wars fan happy: the emperor, darth vader, boba fett, luke, leia, and han all are present plus a number of others. We ve posted an unboxing on youtube:. . . . . Once we play the game we ll post a second video with a review and i ll update this review here.

This game is epic. It really captures the feel of the original star wars movie with a well-balanced asymmetrical mechanic. The empire is vastly powerful, and the rebellion is struggling to hide and pull off strategic missions. There is something truly satisfying about recruiting luke skywalker and managing to upgrade him to jedi knight. Commanding all the forces of the empire is a heady experience. Great game.

Star wars: rebellion board game is a well thought out strategy grand strategy board game set in the star wars universe. . The rebel player does not have a large military. While it can try to fight the empire with it's fleet and ground forces the rebellion uses covert missions to much better effect. . The imperial player can create a huge military in a few turns and uses it's muscle to enforce order in the galaxy. The empire can also send it's leaders out on missions to try to thwart the rebels plans. . All in all a well balanced game between asymmetrical forces. You will enjoy no matter which side you choose to play as.

This game is epic and a must-have for any star wars fan. Watching a game unfold is absolutely thrilling as each side makes little pushes towards victory. The game structure is very clever and leaves you with a lot of good options on every turn, leaving you legitimately excited for your next turn, when you get to do the things you didn't have the resources for this time. And good news! the flow of the game is fairly quick for as epic as it is, and you don't need to wait long! . . The only thing that isn't particularly fun is fighting. On paper, you have massive battles for control of a planet that take places in space and on the ground, which sounds amazing. In reality, it's kind of a clunky process of rolling dice and playing cards that you just drew, none of which are very satisfying to play, and none of which make you feel like you really had any control over the outcome of the battle, whether you won or lost, despite the outcome taking a while to reach. . If they come out with an expansion that expands on the fighting and gives it a little more depth/personality, this will be a perfect 5, and possibly one of my favorite games of all time.

This is the best game of its type out right now. Think axis and allies in the star wars universe, and you get an idea. It is two players generally, but can work with 4 if you work in teams. Each side has a unique objective to win; the empire is hunting the galaxy to find and destroy the hidden rebel base, while the rebels are attempting to free planets, and gain influence to their cause. If they succeed before the empire discovers their base, they win. It's a race against time, as each system won by the rebels draws them nearer to victory, but the empire has a full arsenal of weapons, ships, and soldiers and even a death star at their disposal to track down and eliminate the rebellion once and for all. This is an epic cinematic game that takes the fight to a planetary scale. If you love strategy games and are a star wars fan, it is a must have.

My 18 year old son has enjoyed this so much. His friends all get together to play but don't be surprised this is a serious game that takes hours. There is enough enjoyment in this game that videos take a back seat to play

E. Denise, Arkansas says

A complex game, hard to setup and maybe bit too much for seasonal weekend players. Better for couples or groups dedicated to learn and play the game. Other than that it is very interesting and usually there are twists that change the outcome on the last minutes. The box is huge and without inserts can easily fit 3-4 gmt counter trays gmt games tray counter tray, except the heroes won't fit this low profile tray unless you cut a few slits like i did.

Very fun game. I've played it multiple times in the past week or so and i'm still not tired of it. With the multiple decks and characters and your inability to use everything in a single game each match has felt different. Definitely adds to the longevity. I really like the models that came with it. Only assembly required are 2 pieces for the star destroyers and a few for the death stars. I checked what comes with the game in the manual and counted the models. With so many pieces, cards, characters, etc i was worried something would be missing but it's all there. It's a long game, so only get it if you're ok with settling in for the long haul. I highly recommend this game.

The learning curve is steep but if you put the time into getting through a game or two, it really emulates the feel of the original trilogy. Almost all of the main characters and events from the star wars series are represented here in some way, but you never feel like you're following strict plot points. Excellent game!

Just a few tidbits. . -not a game for the faint of heart. This is an in depth game that requires patience to get through. Most of my games last 3-4 hours. . -very very thematic. Feels like you are a part of the star wars universe. . - game says it supports 4 players, but this is a 1v1 game at it's core. . -lots of pieces with a decent amount of setup and tear down time. . -love how this is a cat and mouse game the entire time. Feels very balanced with neither side feeling over powered. . -only thing i dislike is the dice rolling. The game is a blast until you begin to battle. Then it feels cumbersome and slow. Luckily it's just a small portion of the game.
